My love is an affliction.

However, not everything is what it seems, and people with beginnings like ours don't get happily ever afters. The scars of our hearts defined our love. It was not welcomed. It was not painless. It was fought for with blood, sweat, and tears and tasted like sweet venom.

The twist at the end blew my mind

I mean the whole book was HOT but I was not expecting the twist, but the way the whole book came together at the end was chef's kiss, but I so wanted more.

Love LA Ferro!

Let me tell ya… LA Ferro really knows how to keep a girl interested! This book was full of mystery and intrigue, and the pacing was wonderful. The author revealed piece by piece of the full story, each delivered at the perfect time to keep you wanting more and more.

I was listening in my car and got home from work one night, only to sit in the car for an extra 30 minutes just to hear what was going to happen next. That’s the mark of a beautifully told story. You just can’t get enough!

And the spice? Well, in true LA Ferro fashion, each scene was described in vivid detail until you could picture yourself as a fly on the wall, watching each intimate moment in real time. Can’t wait for more from this fabulous author.

Confusing but still solid listen

This had the potential to be one of the BEST dark romance/RH books out there, but it is way too confusing - but it's so good I didn't even care because the characters were all so likable. We needed more details on the relation issues among the male main characters and Charlie - it got so ungodly confusing on why there is relation, who is related to who and backstory and reason for their situation. But I'd still recommend - plus the spice is chefs kiss!

True to the Title

Sweet Venom is what this book is filled with, and I enjoyed every second of it. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing the characters and their story to life. This is my 3rd reread of this book, while my first listen on audio. I loved it!
