Enjoyable Storyline and Narration

Virginia and Aiden's narration was spot on, Southern drawl and hilarious idioms. Storyline was involved, some frustrating moments but believable interpersonal relationships.

Easy listening

Story has no drama but is interesting enough to enjoy. Good characters and great narration.

love the way the authur added that quote thru out the book.. They make me laugh out loud ... The story line in one of my favourite unaquanted love .. I love how she made him work for it . But in the end could not deny her love for him ...great story can't wait to read about the whole family and friends... keep them coming...

1st book by this author

Wow this is the first book by this author I have read.I really enjoyed it, reminded me a lot of Penny rReids book 1 Winston Brothers Beard with Me. Narration was excellent, great dual POV.

My first M Shaw- 😍 loved it

Story was so sweet...and so funny. I hope I'm as funny as her Grandma someday. And the second chance love was hot, romantic, fun and sweet. It's not a deep dark love affair type book. It's a light hearted happy book. But I give it 5 stars.

Oh JJ!

I am OVERJOYED that this author duo now has books coming out in AUDIOBOOKS! I loved this book by the way. It was a story of second chances and how it’s not always easy to admit you may have done things wrong the first time but you're more than willing to get it right the second time. I love a story like this it makes me feel all the emotions and heartbreak they both felt from their before story and all the love and triumph of their now story.

Destiny is a pretty great character with a great head on her shoulders and I loved Virginia Rose’s performance of her.
JJ’s voice was Aiden Snow and if you have ever listened to a book by him then you know, YOU KNOW how good his voice is. ;)

If you want a sweet romance with some great steamy scenes this is for you!

Fabulous!

I loved listening to the narration and animation in the voices as the story of Destiny and JJ is told. Grandma Dixie’s one liners are so good! Excellent t start to the series!

Who is on Destiny’s side?

I am all for forgiveness but where is JJ’s emotional growth? Why is EVERYONE in Destiny’s life just like “yeah, but look at it from his perspective” even her own GRANDMA!!

Who is telling JJ to start talking to the girl he supposedly wants to marry? NO ONE!

I have been ranting about this since I got half way through listening, I love the performances by the voice actors, the accents are great! But I can not get over the fact that not a single person was telling JJ to talk to the woman he supposedly loves!

Okay, thats enough ranting, I did like the fun southern idioms and the cute small town setting.

Hallmark Christmas Movie minus the Christmas.

Though a cute storyline, the timeline is sometimes rushed and some details outlandish. I was tough to stay engaged without breaks. Think...Hallmark movie channel with some sex scenes.

Five star for Aiden Snow

Cute second chance love story. A little too much sex but it's acceptable. Would have loved more story development with "why" the rivalry guy wanted this girl so much. Guess it was a case of wanting something that you could not have.
