another home run

a great continuation of the cottage master. a slow burn adventure of a guy that just wants to retire and be at peace but the girls in his life make it almost impossible to relax. however he still finds a way to have a somewhat peaceful life.

Another awesome installment in an excellent series

This series is a fun other-world jaunt with strange and challenging new creatures. The storyline has a lot of potential, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it leads.

Great book 2

Dungeon time? Great continuation from the first book. Melisandre and Ron always do a great job.

Awesome Sequel

When it comes to a sequel, I am personally looking for everything that made the last book worth it and then some. In my opinion that is this book. For me it always comes down to the question of whether or not I was entertained. The answer is yes. The author appears to be relatively new. In fact, the narration team also appears to be relatively new. The premise is a character that has more or less retired as the hero and just wants to be left alone. I don't want to risk spoiling anything for anybody, but if you're puritanical of heart you may want to find something else. When I'm finished with a book, I usually go looking for the answers to a few questions and I don't mind sharing them in the review. Sometimes the next book is already out even if it's only in eBook form, but unfortunately that's not the case here. With that said I feel like recommending another story by this author which is “Isekai Cheat Appraiser.” That's another one that I'm eagerly awaiting a sequel to. The author has a Patreon and is apparently active on Facebook. I think the narration team did a pretty good job with their performance. I would recommend you check out “Highway Hero” or “The Coffin Hotel” which are two that they've also narrated. Lastly, I'll just say well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the Audible listeners.

Slice of life with a good amount of adventure! A good sequel to the first book and the world was filled out very well! Always got to love the spice too!

book 2 takes quite a turn, it's interesting how the author had each character try their hand at different skills, some more surprising than others and entertaining to boot
