Quick and thorough investment book

Husband and I want to break into the real estate investing market but we don’t have much capital. My husband heard about mobile home investing on a podcast and found this audiobook. Short book but thorough enough for us to lay out a plan.

It’s OK but not complete

It has good info on general information on mobile home parks. I was looking for more detailed information on how to get a deal on a mobile park and how to evaluate one once I have a potential seller.

Very Beginner Level

Overall it was a very basic level. There are some good points and good info. I feel like they spent too much time on someone buying a mobile home for their own personal use, not investing. Having said that they did give some great info on financing. Most of the financing info is suited towards someone who will live in the home though, not for an investor.

Easy to navigate and extremely informative!

This book is a great introduction to the world of investing in mobile homes. You will learn insider secrets, things you should be aware of, rules and regulations, along with many other invaluable tips for the trade. Easy to understand the information is broken down so that even most novice investor will have no problems understanding! Just under four hours listening time, this is a great audio book for a short road trip!

High level overview for someone considering the asset class

Like the narrator, and it’s exactly as it portrays itself as a beginners guide. Would recommend to someone that is considering it as an asset class but to operate a mobile home park this scratches the surface. Again, not saying that’s what the author was going for.

Utter Garbage and useless info. Terrible Narrator

The jist of the book is Mobile Homes are hard to finance, unless you have very good or better credit and also have 30k to 40k in cash for the down payment. Or you will have to buy them upfront in a cash only deal, like 56%+ of mobile home owners....
Terrible investment strategy and the author talks around or bypasses any realist ways or formulas for a newbie investor to get started.... This book was nothing more than a pamphlet and long winding stories to make up a length long enough to fool people in to buying the audio.


The Narrator is like listening to a senior citizen with lose dentures... A terrible choice for engaging the audience, and likely a ploy to have someone older seem to instruct on the subject matter will lend authority to the bullsh@t trying to be sold.
