treat this book as if you were getting your masters in ‘out of state investing’

This book was absolutely stellar! Everything you hope to know is found in this book and so much more.

So relevant to the times, it has Venmo and Zillow

I've read a lot of real estate books and they all had the usual, repeated principles which, don't get me wrong, are extremely helpful and excellent knowledge! But it got to the point where I realized a lot of books I was reading we're pre housing crisis and I found myself wondering if the tactics had changed at all.

In seeking out a more modern book, I came across this one. It really helped ease my anxiety that the information I had received was outdated. It solidified all the familiar Concepts and has several chapters entirely surrounding the New Concept of investing entirely on your phone. it gives you all the fancy new tools and everything you need to know to use them! A fantastic read for newbies in 2020

Great reference for getting started in real estate

I took lots of notes and still might return to this book for reference material. No stories but plenty of anecdotes about the process of buying real estate from a distance. I am far less intimidated than I was when I started this book.

Based in Reality not Theory

Green does a good job of staying brief and strait to the point, (listen to this in one weeks worth of travel time) so this is a good starting point if you want to begin your journey on none local investing but there are tasks that are mentioned in this book that are not covered in considerable depth. This is a great book if you don't know where to start, and although there isn't much if anything about interninvesting Internationaly a great deal of this can be used; especially his emphasis on team building.

Very valuable to grow confidence

The book is very valuable in help thinking through the out of state RE-investing. The information provided helps alleviate related concerns and describes an effective process of managing out of state investments. I enjoyed listening to this book.

So much more than just long distance…

This is an incredibly thorough and detailed look into the world of RE investing. It is not just for those interested in long-distance RE investing. It is also not one of the more dry, boring, obnoxiously written books that litter the market, seem out of touch with reality and make you want to pull your eyes out.

It is simple, concise, practical, informative, inspirational, relevant, and written for the every day Jane/Joe. The principles and specifics outlined by David in this book are replicable and applicable wherever you are in your RE investing career. If you are serious about RE investing, make sure you give this multiple listens. Your ROI will be infinity over the cost of this book. It is a gold mine that will serve as a reference and guide for perpetuity. It is not just a DIY starter’s guide. It is a road map and compass that should be referred to regularly by anyone who takes RE investing seriously.
