I would have loved to hear a male narrator for the male lead but overall the story was much enjoyed!

loved this story and all of Hannah Howell's books. I loved Hannah's work long before the Scottish fever hit the t.v. top 10. WOOHOO!

I love all of Hannah Howell books I own them all I just wish there were more I’ve read this particular book about 5 times and every time I find something new to love about it

Great Book

Story line is so captivating you loose yourself in it. The little jokes and jabs make you laugh out loud. I loved both of the Bride series getting ready to start Book 3.

This was a very good story and I really like the character's. I enjoyed this one better than the first.

MMC is a big fat coward - not hot

The ick is so real with this MMC. He is so disconnected from his emotions and so letcherous and gross. No redeeming qualities and kinda shitty in every fight he has. Hate this guy. This chick deserves way better.

Not good, not at all…

Free with the catalog subscription so atleast I didn’t waste a credit. I do not understand why reviews are praising this couple when the guy was an emotionally unavailable, insanely paranoid cheater. Ugh. Not good. The young lady he married was way too good for him and deserved a much better partner.
First book was better. Hope the next one makes up for this one. Never pay for this book.

Enjoy Hannah Howell - #2 of series

Storyline kept me listening. I like how HH brings characters from each book forward for much more than cameo’s. This one was a bit chaotic. Too many villains & enemies everywhere rather than HH’s usual interesting character development. Never connected with MMC. Not much of a warrior either. More r*pey than her usual style. Some loose ends left. Though not HH’s best, the story was ok. Will finish the series.
