An exciting story if you don’t mind slow narration

I loved every second. I can see where some people might be put off by the narrator, but I thought dissipate her pacing being a little slow the question and answers were well paced. The ending left you wanting to continue the story.

Good listen

Really liked the story and the strength of the FMC. Had good action but time passed quickly in the telling of the story.

Good Book

I have this book and read it several years ago. it's a very good book but the performer needs to be a bit more engaging. almost every character has the same sounding voice. that's the ONLY thing keeping it from a 5 star

A fun and engaging read

I've loved this author's books since I was way too young to be reading such material. I'm just happy to be able to finally continue reading this series.

Intriguing

I loved the mystical intrigue woven into the story. I really did not like the tempo of the narrator. Sorry but it made listening hard at times.

terrible narration

struggled through this book. wanted to know outcome but the monotone narration wad putting me to sleep!

3 is generous

Yes I struggled to finish. Just got bored with the story. The sexy scenes were all that kept me awake. I ordered additional books by this author thinking they would be good. I am rethinking that premise now.
The narration was really awful. Who told McNabb that sonorous was the perfect way to read a story? Just awful.

Wish narrator was better

I love this series when I read them. I was excited to have them in audio as well but after listening to this one I don’t think I’ll buy the rest. I feel bad because I know that the narrator probably did her best but it was so dry. When she read the males POV it was even worse.
