A Good Sequel

When it comes to a sequel, I am personally looking for everything that made the last book worth it and then some. In my opinion that is this book. The story is well written for what it is. Our hero was born into a post-apocalyptic world where a virus created zombies. There are some outposts of humanity remaining while others travel as they are overrun by the zombie threat or the evil bandits that always crop up in such stories. The story differs with the fact that not all humans infected with the virus became zombies. Some became Inhumans such as cat girls and giants. Now though the virus has started to infect them creating new more dangerous mutants. In such a world coming together for nights of passion and pleasure are no big thing as life is fleeting. Misty Vixen is an American author writing explicit harem stories where the relationships are built on trust, respect, open communication, and a special emphasis on all sides deriving satisfaction. In other words, you're not going to find any damsels in distress or alpha males stomping all over everything. The stories remind me of the light, spicy, and enjoyable storytelling of Virgil Knightley. Don't get me wrong, she's got her own style and it's her own thing, but if I was looking to compare her books to another author it would be his. There appears to be a 60/40 split between spicy scenes and everything else. Likewise, if you know of his work and like his work then I think you would also enjoy Misty Vixen's stories. I enjoyed the narrator’s performance. Ellory Lane is still relatively new to me. She has done dual narration in the past. I have listened to her performances in “Tiny Souls” and “Ruby Mage,” the remake. I think she did a fantastic job soloing this story. I definitely am looking forward to her future performances. Lastly, I'll just say well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the Audible listeners.

the story went away and just became cringy sex scenes. not exactly my thing.

Huge fan

I get this series, it’s going in a great direction. Misty is seriously a great storyteller. Ellory does a fantastic job with all the characters.

Looking like this will be an interesting series.

Our MC is apparently looking to add one of every type of woman to his harem.
New women and challenges come to our group, as well as some from the past.
Great characters, harem fun and adventure.
Looking forward to all the rest of the books.
Really enjoying this fun and adventurous series.

misty vixen brings the heat into a cold world

I'm really glad Misty's works have been coming to audible. she does a very good job with post apocalyptic settings, showing what most people would do if they were in the same situation. sure there's strife and turmoil but people can still find happiness and care for one another. there's lots of steamy stuff but I figure that most people if put in this situation would be doing the same things, because you never know when it might be your last chance. ellory did a fantastic job once again. I recommend this book.

Side quests with s*x

The plot is literally just a whole bunch of side quests. The s*x is like how a teenager would picture the “perfect” experience. Every s*xual request is answered with just an “ok” and it happens. To top that off, the MC finds EVERYTHING so dam hot. Tall, short; thick, thin; inhuman, human; blonde, redhead. I wouldn’t be surprised if there came a time where a girl just saying “hi” is so dam hot.
All in all though? Pretty decent.

An excellent book 2 in the Haven series!

Misty Vixen does it again with the second book in the Haven series. This book continues the story and its even better than book 1 IMO. The characters and story are better developed and the fun continues at every opportunity! I look forward to book 3. Audio Version: Ellory Lane does a great job with the characters and narration.

Another great entry!

I'm really loving the Haven series. I find myself wishing that each volume were longer, but that's really my only complaint.
