Ever since he became a Christian at the age of forty, it has been Poirot actor David Suchet's dream to make an audio recording of the complete Bible. In between filming the final episodes of Poirot, David Suchet spent over 200 hours in the recording studio to create the very first full-length audio version of the NIV Bible spoken by a single British actor.

This audio Bible is also available as an app. The app contains the full text of the New International Version (British Text), so you can easily navigate the audio or read and listen at the same time.

Excellent Listen, but needs Chapter Titles

As the heading indicates, this audio bible is preformed expertly and as someone who has listened to a lot of different reader renditions of the bible, this is by far, my favourite.
The MAJOR flaw is that the chapters are not labeled and so it is nearly impossible to find say Hebrews Chapter 5 without selecting a large number of other chapters and listening for a while. Therefore, this is really only good for listening to large chunks of the bible (i.e. you want to listen to all of Genesis and Exodus or John and Acts.)

This is just Awesome

David does the best job imaginable. This performance is a treat and I have listened to it many times and look forward to listening more. Mr Suchet brings the Bible to life.

Best narrator of all my Bibles!

Absolutely love this version of the Bible. The narrator is awesome, his words flow beautifully. He has such a comfortable & relaxing voice. I enjoy reading along with him &’also sleeping to the Word as he reads. Wish he narrated all versions of the Bible. I’d definitely purchase them. Excellent job! 👏👏👏

Superb voice.

The clarity of delivery of the beautiful words, opened up new portals of understanding for me. Each year I journey through the entire Bible. This coming one, it is my intention to retake this voyage with David Suchet.
