This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... I love how it is read and performed
This reading makes my ability to be in the word of the lord more pleasant and attainable. with five children to tend to I sometimes don't have time to sit and read from the great book. it is read with such personality and power I feel like I'm listening to a reading of my favorite novel and characters. I can definitely get through the entire bible with this. 10/10 easy listening and understanding.

Easy to listen to. Easy to follow. Great job/performance by Max.
But…
If I were to tell you to listen to Isaiah 46, you couldn’t EASILY find it. Part 16, part 4, part 10…where is it? Once you’re in the right part, though, everything works and flows wonderfully - each book and chapter is listed. The problem is you just don’t know what’s in each part.

I love this narrator
Max McLean does an amazing job on this audio version of the NIV Bible. I have listened to several other audio versions and I just love his voice reading the Holy Scriptures to me!

The narrator does a great job with the reading and the ambient music in the background is a nice touch. The Chapters are annotated by book and chapter; there must have been an update because some of the reviews complain about a lack of This.
