Sadness, shame, helplessness, anger, embarrassment, disappointment, frustration, and vulnerability. In 30 years as a practicing psychologist, Dr. Joan Rosenberg has found that what most often blocks people from success and feeling capable in life is the inability to experience, move through, and handle these eight unpleasant feelings. Knowing how to deal with intense, overwhelming, or uncomfortable feelings is essential to building confidence, emotional strength, and resilience.

Excellent companion for my move and packing
I bought the audio book after reading the kindle version. I listened to it while packing and decluttering. It helped me to let go of a lot of clutter that was holding me back.

Much needed
In this book, among many other important topics, Dr Rosenberg always relates back to addressing emotions that we all are inclined to repress or run away from. This is not something you are taught as a child—unless your caregivers or teachers have mastered jt—but I believe it is something every person should learn. The tools and exercises she lays out are practical and enlightening and I believe we could ALL benefit from what she teaches in this book.

The information was second to none.
Her voice was very easy to listen to.
It was so easy to use.
I have to live on Social Security so I only signed up for the one month to listen to this book.
I bought the book and love it! But, I can't afford to keep listening even at half price for a
short period.
It will be wonderful for ones who can afford it no matter the book they want to listen to! : )

Amazing book
This book helped me to process my difficult feelings that I’ve been avoiding for 14 years. I wish I could get those tears back, but at least I can move forward with more confidence in my authentic self & power. I no longer seek confidence outside myself.

Read it Again & Again
Loved it! I finished listening then took Dr. Rosenberg’s advice and began listening to it again. This book is a must listen to creating a strategic approach to 90 Seconds to a Life You Love. As told by a clinical psychologist, educator, and neuroscience researcher; the book is expertly crafted and brutally honest when managing through emotions such as sadness, shame, helplessness, anger, embarrassment, disappointment, frustration, and vulnerability.
This book should be on your annual listening to list!
