I loved this book and Joe Arden as usual pulls you in. The way the spice scenes were spicing and needing tissues. So worth a credit and going through Milly and Haidyn life. Even though Milly was getting on my nerves a little but loved every bit of it.

So many emotions

There were times that I very much disliked the FMC but this story was truly beautiful. And it hurts that this is a standalone because I need more of them and to know their ending. The voice actors truly outdid themselves in this and it’s amazing!!!

I really enjoyed The Depraved Prince by Lexie Axelson. I’ve always been a big vampire fan, and I grew up in the 90s so this book being set in the 90s was a big pull for me. I loved the FMC Millie, and Hayden the MMC was exactly the amount of unhinged I crave. This story does not have a HEA and I would definitely suggest checking the triggers.

The audiobook is narrated in duet by Janine Granda and Joe Arden. What an amazing duo for this story. They both performed their characters phenomenally and added to my enjoyment of the story.

This was such an incredible book, and amazing performance. This vampire story had a great plot twist that I never saw coming. I need more of Hayden ❤️‍🔥 Joe Arden was incredible as always, I would listen to that man read the weather 🤣🤣🤣 the passion and rage he has in all his performances is truly unmatched!!! A great duet🥵

What An Ending 🤯

If the ending was different it would be 3.5 stars. I’m unsure if this is a standalone or if it will be a series. I’ve tried to look but I am finding conflicting answers. I’m hoping there is another & the author changes my mind because the story has a lot of potential. I really enjoyed the book even when the MC’s made me mad & annoyed me at times, but the ending ruined it for me. I won’t spoil it but there is no HEA so be warned. I wouldn’t recommend until the other books are out, if there are others planned.

Narration: they’re both 5 stars. Joe is the reason I got this book. I will listen to anything he reads. Amazing performance

Joe. Freaking. Arden. He plays unhinged obsessesive SO well and he is the primary reason this book was enjoyable.
The story had a lot of potential but it just needed….more. More depth, more yearning, more plot, more oomph. It just kind of fell flat and there were some holes in the narrative. If I had bought the physical book it would’ve been more disappointing but again… Joe Arden saved it as well as the fact that there were two voice actors working together throughout each chapter in true duet style.

Good book, well written, good and engaging story and great performances BUT the book is a labeled as a romance when it is actually a romantic tragedy. I wish they would label it as such.
