Dr. John Townsend (drtownsend.com) is a New York Times bestselling author, leadership consultant and psychologist. He has written or co-written over 30 books, selling 10 million copies, including the Boundaries book series, People Fuel and Leading From Your Gut. John is the founder of the Townsend Institute for Leadership and Counseling and the Townsend Leadership Program. He speaks regularly on leadership, relationships and success. Dr. Townsend consults with business and leaders on a national level, and also coaches family businesses in success and relationship strategies. John is a board member of Mustard Seed Ranch, which provides equine therapy to abused children, and is involved with other service organizations. He and his family life in Southern California and Dallas, Texas. His favorite hobby is playing in the Bandits, a band comprised of himself and his two sons, Ricky and Benny!
