Big news coming! We are about ready to release our first course of 2025! It's called "My Orchestra Doesn't Squeak: Perfect Technique by Middle School"

It's exactly what you're hoping it is. The course includes the teaching sequence and objectives for the first 7+ orchestra group, troubleshooting, tried-and-true instructional delivery, plenty of photo and video footage to see the correct way to do everything for string technique. There's so much more even than that!

The course is set to be released the week of February 17th and the live course catalog (link below) will be updated to include it!

Happy New Year! Today it seemed like a good idea to take a break from professional development and talk about other needs for teachers- health.

How are your New Year's resolutions going? Are some related to mental health at all? Last episode was about physical health and I was going to have a section on mental health and realized I should just include it in another episode, so here we are!

The topics we discus in this episode are identifying what about mental health needs changing and list-making for the changes and positives that don't need changing. We also discuss meditation and how to properly handle self care in your life so that it is effective.
