That first chapter, y'all

I heard about the first chapter from a Carver Pike video on YouTube. I immediately put this in my wish list.

For how weird and silly the opening was, it was so interesting to see where a story like that went.

Stephen (or was it spelled Steven?) was definitely my favorite character. I did very much like how characters were written, I could tell who was who quite easily.

I have mixed feelings on the ending. I don't hate it, I just wanna know more instead of leaving the story there.

overall, good book. give it a read.
