Hollie Jackson did an amazing job! She blew me away with he performance of this story. She brings the characters to life. I love her take on the characters personalities and the way she distinguishes all the accents of the characters. I've listened to several stories that Hollie has narrated and just when I think I've found my favorite one, I listen to another story she narrates and my mind is changed on my favorite story she's narrated. She's a very gifted narrator and if you don't believe me then just listen to one of her stories she's narrated. She truly does bring this story to life as if you're there seeing everything. Another great story narrated by Hollie Jackson. I highly recommend you give this story a listen, I guarantee you'll love it as much as I have.

NOT ONE CHARACTER HAS A DIFFERENT VOICE FROM THE NARRATOR'S READING VOICE.
I am not kidding. A very disappointing listen. I was a bit shocked too, most narrators try and give characters voice distinctions, not this one. not one little bit.
As for the story, it was just okay, seemed a bit juvenile to me, if you took out the 2 sex scenes this could be YA book. There was not enough dialogue for me. The story line and plot had potential but just fell flat and boring.
I had to stop listening at 8% and just read this book due to the very poor narration. Sorry, Hollie Jackson, but you should either give your characters a voice or don't narrate.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LISTEN. I don't really even recommend the story to be honest. There are so many books out there that are so much better. Save your credit for something worth listening to.
NOT SO BRILLIANT DULL STORY AND TERRIBLE NARRATION

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
This writing style is not what appeals to me. This author explains. Instead of "sky an ocean of azure" we get "blue sky". Picture me wincing. The writing doesn't draw the reader in. It's unlikely I'll make it all the way through the narration. Today is my second attempt and . . . yeah, it's not making it. Strike two is the narration. You cannot tell from the narrator's voice who is talking. Women and men all sound exactly the same and the reading is definitely yawn-worthy. Ugh.Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Hollie Jackson?
The writing isn't that great so there's not much for the narrator to work with but each person should have a unique personality and that doesn't come through. Whether that's equally the author and narrator's fault I'm not interested enough to examine.Any additional comments?
This is probably a great book for a teenager or someone who likes more simple things. The writing just isn't sophisticated or complex enough to appeal to me.Unsophisticated writing, story might have promise
