Publisher's summary

The storyline here is about a young cousin's telling of an amazing story from the viewpoint of a seven-year-old who is discovering a whole new family for the first time along with their amazing secrets. Welcome everyone to the family and group gatherings fun activities and ideas story booklet series. We like to jokingly call ourselves “The Royal Grahamsters!” When some people think about family get togethers, they might mostly remember that embarrassing aunt or uncle or wish that they could be somewhere else. What should be a fun time of fellowship and reunion can, in some families, descend into a time of chaos if no activities are planned. So, I start creating fun and meaningful things to do, then publishing them in family reunion newsletters and as Amazon books. When the family (which easily can consist of 8 to over 50 people when everyone shows) comes for planned fun gatherings, we now have good to great family events. The first book starts out as a family fun game about eight years ago at a Graham family reunion. My parents have six girls and four boys, and one sister creates the best story about us in a family storytelling game. The crazy part is that her story line gets made up on the spot, with no prepping as to how to explain the oddly-drawn, unique pictures that she draws. She titles her story the “The Royal Grahamsters!” At our last family gathering, we decide to create a part two to this. These are family photos with each of us holding one of those wacky looking pictures from a second set of new drawings--even more wacky than the first set of drawings. This book starts with my activity idea of everyone coloring a wacky drawing picture of one of our ten siblings and then telling a strange-but-true, no prep, made up on the spot story about the drawing. Some of the pages coming up next show pictures of siblings in story telling mode, but the trick is guessing who is really featured in the wacky drawings. Look out for the next installation of fun event activities from the family, or as we call ourselves: “The Royal Grahamsters.”
