A Warhammer Age of Sigmar Audiobook

Ushoran, the Carrion King. Paragon of majesty, ravening abomination. His curse – to perceive the grimdark Mortal Realms as a chivalric kingdom, and himself, not as a twisted monstrosity, but as an exemplar of kings. Before him scuttle the horrors of his brood – the ghoul courts – spreading their deluded taint.

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

Is madness the only way to defeat madness? Discover the utter terror of facing the Mortarch of Delusion and his twisted cannibalistic minions in a twisting, turning tale of obsession.

THE STORY

For generations, the people of the Howling Vale have fought against this madness, largely in vain. Now, Kosomir Vornarov, the city’s Master Patriarch, risks everything – his reputation, friends, even his people’s survival – to destroy the flesh-eater menace entirely and forge a brighter future in his name.

Two ambitious lords, two haunted souls. Whose madness will prove the stronger?

Written by Dale Lucas. Narrated by Richard Reed. Runtime 8 hours and 51 minutes approx.

It was flavorful, I enjoyed all the characters and thier flaws, the narration was fantastic. I hope this gets another book.

Exactly the kinda GW short story I’m looking for.

The writing is fantastic, the Flesh Eater courts are up there with the Skaven as far as amazing original ideas from GW

Outstanding novel

Absolutely loved this look into the mindset of the summer king! The narrator does one of the best riffs on the count Orlock accent I’ve ever heard and is a joy to listen to!

Incredible narration

you finally see the heroic return of the honorable summer king. as with dynasty of monsters the cities of Sigmar are thy villains.

the first view from the heroes side

Superbly well written - reminds me of Dynasty of Monsters, actually, but in a most excellent way.

What makes a man a monster?

Mostly about humans and barely has anything about the flesh eater courts
More words needed for the review, yada yada yada

Bait and switch as per usual from gw

ignoring the fact ushoran is barely in the book, main character that we follow is constantly switching to be a prideful brat who can't see pass his ego to deep frying his brain until he's a retard. This sounds like it can flow into each other but the author wrote him making decisions that wouldn't make since. Like he kills his mentor at the beginning at the book, but spares a girl who turned into a ghoul after she cause problems at the mid way point. And the final chapter just has him being willfully delusional despite that fact that he remains sober during it.

writing incompetence vs incompetent writing

lost me when they just quoted the lord of the rings. The book is 90% humans when its supposed to be about Ushoran I'm tired of GW doing this.

not a Ushoran book
