These two give me all the feels. They started in one place and grew in such big ways. I can't say more because I don't want to spoil the plot!
Writing/Listening:
It's a medium paced book at about 600 pages but I'm telling you it's worth it! The length was perfect for everything that happened in the plot and made you fall for these main characters. It's dual POV which is my favorite. Joe Arden is one of my absolute favorite male narrators and he was divine. I really enjoyed Kasha Kensington as well. Although a few times her narrating Lachlan's dialogue during the spicy scenes had me laughing/cringing. Lol Would have been 5/5 on performance if it was duet narration. Diverse author and diverse representation. And let me just say, this book was the perfect blend and amount of spice. PERFECTION!

Holy shit, Lach is 100000% my new book BF - this is such a good read/listen. I loved it. I love both characters. Perfect amount of love story with an underlying plot. I love that there is focus on their careers, friendships, Lyla’s trauma and how Lach helps her overcome it and is her biggest protector. Love love love.
