I’m going to listen to this again around Christmas time. Maybe every Christmas. I loved this story. Perfect for any and all rom com lovers.

I had not heard of this author but found it by chance and LOVED the book. Female narrator was great. Spice was 2/5.

Cute book

I feel that this is a cute romcom! I really enjoyed the way the characters were written. The character traits were sort of opposite of what you'd expect and that gave them more depth. I enjoyed the romance in the storyline and the plot. I think the story is well written and definitely worth the time to read it. I also purchased the audio version and enjoyed listening to the story! Overall, I feel this is a really good book!

Wonderful and unique romance

I loved the story and the rich character development! It keep me intrigued and invested. The voice performances are wonderful too. I highly recommend!

A good escape

Liked this much more than I expected—especially the book writing portion! Also appreciated the pride/success achieved by a young woman😊

It was ok. Not bad. Was it a waste of time? No. Was it the best book ever? No.

I was so invested in the outcome!!!

Finishing the audiobook of this left me so insanely happy. I kept talking to my niece about the book (well the PG-13 version) and how invested I'd become in the outcome of the relationship between Mason and Sawyer. Both of them had some pretty big hangups to overcome before they were able to truly be in a committed relationship. Mason was the true romantic and Sawyer had completely given up on the idea of finding someone else, instead choosing to protect her heart. Both of their jobs were affected by this, and they come up with the plan to help each other by doing their worst to break the other down. Sawyer is trying to ruin romance and the big gestures for him, and Mason is trying to inspire her to write again by having her go through the stereotypes. The way it was written and their relationship moved organically through its various stages was fun and frustrating at the same time. I guess that is the beauty of being an observer and getting to yell about the blindness of them both. I love that it still managed to surprise me as I got a few predictions wrong.

Sound volume irritating

An Audible book should have a consistent level. Maybe it was more irritating because her voice was irritating.
Story was boring.

Terrible

Blah blah blah, it just put me to sleep. There are so many good books to listen to, why waist my time.
