He also talks about the biggest changes in the sport over the last 50 years, in particular the safety issues which came to the fore after the tragic death of Ayrton Senna, which he witnessed first hand. His partnership with James Hunt behind the microphone is the subject of some hilarious anecdotes, while his views on drivers past and present such as Stirling Moss, Jackie Stewart, Damon Hill and Michael Schumacher make for fascinating reading.

Just heard that Murray has passed away

...so had to go back and listen to this. Very enjoyable. Legend in F1 from the days when I first watched and listened. Nothing really surprising in this book, but a good reminder of what he meant to motor racing and what motor racing meant to him. RIP Murray.

A True Legend

This is the first audiobook I've purchased of a book I'd already read in print but to hear Murray tell his story in his own voice was very much worth it.
