Awesome Fiction Production!

Very believable-I feel as if I know the characters! The production is awesome too-I love the sound effects (car doors, sirens, dog barking etc.) The police investigation details are fascinating. Listeners will want to hear this story straight through from beginning to end (3.5 hours). I'm hoping for additional titles by this author and narrator soon!

Loved it!!!

Truly enjoyed the story! The shops and streets actually exist in Tampa Florida. Loved the detective/murder mystery style of the story. I definitely recommend!

Fun short mystery

Really fun short mystery. Almost like old time radio with the sound effects. The entertaining part is everyone has a opinion about why he got killed and no one is sorry he is dead. Spouse abuse is a major reason people feel he was killed. The Narrator, William Hahn did a great job and he added to the tone of the mystery. I received a free copy and this is a voluntary review.

Are They Going to Get Caught?

This is a clever little story about two murders—one that happened before the book starts and one scheduled to occur a few days into the novel. Like in the Colombo television series, you know who committed the crime from the first page, but—and this is the hook that makes this book so interesting—the more you learn about the murderers and their victims, the less you want them to be caught for the crime. So this isn’t so much a “who dunnit” as a “can they get away with it?” story. As a result, Unfinished Business is a truly pleasant way to while away a few hours of your day and author D. L. Ashmore keeps you guessing as to how things will turn out right up to the last page.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Unexpectedly excellent

I had no idea what to expect when I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review, except that I looked up the author and saw he got good reviews. With the dog on the front, I just assumed it would be a light and fluffy detective story. Boy, was I wrong!!
This is the real deal. This is a gritty detective story and I want more!!! Loved it!!
Excellent narrator. What a relief to listen to a book that's so well read. Thank you both for a great listen!!
