Good, solid, Western mystery.

If you like Longmire or other Western, “macho” mysteries you’ll like these. Great driving stories that even kept my husband interested.

Great detective novels

Good, consistent stories with character development along the way. I look forward to the next ones!

A little too fake but story is good.

One part crashes on a motorcycle into a tree. Hurt a little? Then climbs a mountain!

Contrived

This review is based on only the first book, which only works if you're able to suspend all belief at a major plot point in the beginning of the book. I was unable to do so, and therefore the outcome of the book didn't work for me. There are some great characters in this series and some of the plot of book one was outstanding, but ultimately it suffers from a lazy and unimaginative author. These characters deserve so much better than Jeff Carson.

An Excellent Series

Well written, without needlessly excessive sex, violence, gore and vulgarity. The box set is a true value. I look forward to more of the same, from the author and Audible!

Loved listening to the series Book 1-4. Suspenseful series. It was action filled. Kept my interest. What a read!!!

Great thrillers

A great set with a fantastic performance. Each story is taut and well crafted. A bit more bloodshed than I expected, and lots of twists and turns here and there to keep things interesting. Rocky Points is a dangerous place.
