Investigate or have sex

If you don't pay attention to the publisher at the start, you will soon realize that this is a Harlequin novel. When the FBI agents aren't investigating the crimes and trying to get the bad guy, they're either having sex or fantasizing about it. We get it, they are adults but Lara Gant seems to be a little too focused on getting physical with the bad guy or her new partner. If you got rid of the gratuitous love making, this 8 book series could be condensed to 4.

Once you get past the late nite Cinemax plots, it is a good crime series. Of course there is a mole, a bad guy and a twin, plus a daughter that gets used as bait. It is longer than needed (even without the explicit relationship descriptions), but getting through it is a rewarding way to spend some free time.

Touch Justice Indeed

1. 5 stars for the narration: Therese Plummer was superb in this book.

2. 5 stars for the opportunity to experience all the feelings in this book. Hateful and vengeance towards Moretti. Sadness, passion, love, forgiveness, excitement, suspense and proper laugh out load moments.

3. 5 stars for the story. If i had to wait to finish the books, this would really have annoyed me, as each part ends on a cliff hanger and makes you feel that the part is unfinished. But because i could finish the whole book the story also gets a 5 star. I felt that the whole story, and all the little ones in between, came together nicely and left me with no more questions. It's like watching a super suspenseful movie with a great ending.

I would recommend this book. It's a bargain at 1 credit for 24hrs of reading.

Too much description about every thought and feelings.

Just going to cut and paste, not interested and describing every issue. Definitely dislike.

Too much description about every thought, almost like you think your read readers are slow minded and can’t decipher emotions and feelings. Definitely not going to Pay for another book from this author or narrator.

Good story, mediocre character

Lara Grant would never make it as an FBI special agent. Emotional, yes. Sex crazed, yes. Snap judgements without analysis, yes. Overreacted, yes. The narrator did a great job, just wish the primary character would have been more believable.

Disappointing Heroine!

The heroine got beat at EVERY turn! It was all tough talk with no backup. Mis-step after mis-step. She did not miss in the hormone department. Thankfully she had a great team supporting her.
