Soooooo goooood!!!

The author and the narrator really pull you into to the lives of the characters and you feel like you are right there. I found myself yelling at Joe out loud and people around me looking at me like I’m crazy! I love Joe but I think my favorite reoccurring character in this series of 4 books was hands down the owner of the Mouse’s Tail, Arlene. She is so sassy! I sure hope she will be part of the next set.

Intriquing storyline

Couldnt put the series down. Characters are well developed. Already purchased next up in the series

The characters were believable and likable

Easy listening and not a complicated story line. They sounded true to their stated background with a believable accent. The language was not offensive nor the description of acts and encounters. The story line was interesting and kept my interest. Enjoyed this read and will look for book number two.

♡ the charachter and his family values

this series is a great read full of drama and suspensce without the main charachter losing his way in midst of all the evil that he encounters.

I enjoyed every book and how all were tied together so well. Will be listening to more.

Each story made the development better

At first, I thought this is a one dimensional character study because they were all just white folks, blue-eyed blondes, etc. but by the third story he started bringing in other cultures and it became fully fleshed out stories which helped Joe Dillard become better understandable. Excellent!

Great Set

Highly recommend this set of books 1-4 ordering the next set after I finish this review. They move along at a quick clip and is a easy and enjoyable read or rather listening

well rounded story

The author Scott Pratt delves into many aspects of life as an attorney and the politics that go along with the job. He writes about many of the darker sides of human nature but in a way that makes the story believable and with several humorous antidotes that many readers wont be able to put it down. I am looking forward to reading the next installment in this series

Honestly the will of the main character is admirable

Like the story each one of them, got upset at the corruption of the folks who should do better. Appreciate the main character integrity.

Can’t listen to the narrator

I’m sure the stories are good I just can’t listen to the “sing song” voice of the narrator. Will never get the chance to hear the stories.
