Chock Full of Good Ideas But....

To start with, this book gave me many very good ideas to help with some problems we've been having with our five cats, and one cat in particular. I will certainly be implementing many of the ideas in my efforts to help our loner cat to get along with the others. To be upfront, I've listened to several science-heavy books about cats and cat behavior so the language in this book was a bit off-putting and geared for a broader appeal. Mojo, mojofied, mojofication, catification all make me cringe and are used A LOT in the book. I'd have preferred more appropriate words like contented, confident, at-ease, etc... Despite this, I'd highly recommend this book as the knowledge is rooted in science and several prominent scientists are quoted. If you have a cat this should be on your list to listen to or read.

We are always spreading the word of the Cat Daddy. It's also an opening to talk about our cats and we could go on and on about them and how superior they are because we walk the walk. Write more Jackson.

EXCELLENT insight and advice

Where does Total Cat Mojo rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Pretty high. I wasn't a huge fan of the narrator for this book. He wasn't bad by any means but he just didn't seem a good fit for the content.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Galaxy of course.

What about Sam Osheroff’s performance did you like?

He was very clear and articulate.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Not sure.

Narrator was very clear and articulate but at times emotionless and monotone. Not a horrible one by any means but it felt bland at times due to this.

Better Kitty Life

I have always loved cats, ever since I was a kid. I would read the really simple "how to care for your cat" books for kids in elementary school. This is like that, but for adults. There is a lot of information that gets simplified for children and on the Internet for short attention spands, but this is all the information you would need to care for a cat and even stuff I wouldn't have thought of. The audio was okay, I mostly use audiobooks because of my dyslexia, but I think I make need to get a physical copy for future use/recaps.

Gentle and educational

My family will all, cats and humans alike, benefit from my greater understanding of cat behavior, learned from the listening of this book.

A must read for cat owners and cat lovers

seriously, you can't call yourself a good cat owner until you read this book and I stand by that statement

Fun, educational, and helpful!

I have loved Jackson Galaxy for years and I finally read his books, and all I can say is 1)saved my cats and 2)saved my house! A wonderful story chalk-full of extremely useful tips. If you love cats, you'll love the book.
