I could not stop listening

Jackson Galaxy has written one of the most passionate and moving accounts that I have read in a very long time. His ability to connect his life lessons with the lessons he learned with the help of his cats, gave the story something extra. I so appreciated his willingness to share his journey so honestly.

Galaxy did a superb job of narrating the story, as well. I could feel his love for those animals. I didn't want it to end but it ended perfectly. There aren't many audiobooks that hold my attention as did this one.

This is easily the best audible book I've ever listened too.

This quote from "Dead Poets Society" best describes the combination of Jack Galaxy narrating his own book:

Honest, funny, biting, sad, thought provoking, atmospheric, this book has it all and I can't say enough how good Jackson is as the narrator. He makes you feel like you're in the room as these things are happening, the mark of a genius writer, narrator, poet and cat loving human being.

This book embodies the "very best" of what Audible can be.

When Jackson saves his cat from dying.

Great story & narrator!

What did you love best about Cat Daddy?

It was a heartfelt story and was very well narrated. Best narrator on a book I've listened to so far. He needs to narrate professionally as he is so easy to listen too.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cat Daddy?

The loss of his kitty. Been there and understood how he felt.

Such an amazing book! Could not imagine getting a better understanding of someone I look up to so much.

Awesome story.

I love listening to Jackson Galaxy's passion to animals. This book was a emotional book, some with happy times and some with sad.

There are cat tips at the end but this is mostly an autobiographical account told though Jackson Galaxy's eyes.

I enjoyed this book. It spoke to my heart at times and facinated me to no end.

Great story line

Great story though I could have done without all the profanity! Just saying it would have been better without all the cussing especially when using the Lord's Name in vane as well as using the "f" word.

Jackson, you're smarter than all the cussing.😻😻😻

What did you love best about Cat Daddy?

This book is for everyone who ever took a round about path to find their own success. I will admit that I am a cat person but this book is so much more than a book about cats. Jackson is a very interesting person with a great story to tell. He is very bright, intelligent, very well educated an follow his heart through incredible challenges that would crush most people. This is an inspiring read that I had a hard time turning off at the end of my car ride. I guess you could call it a driveway book as I couldn't stop listening to get out of my car in the driveway.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cat Daddy?

He is a great story teller and I found my self talking out loud to the book in my car like I was somehow involved in his conversation or if he were speaking directly to me. I might have looked strange to other drivers as I wiped a tear, covered my mouth in shock or pounded on my steering wheel at tense moments.

What about Jackson Galaxy’s performance did you like?

He has a Master of Fine Arts degree and clearly he can perform. His narration is clear, passionate an emotional. He is a great narrator.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

He actually plays guitar too.

This is one of my favorite reads and I say that with all sincerity.

Wonderful & surprising story!

I can't remember why I got this book. I think it was actually an accident... But it turned out to be really great! If you love animals, this is perfect for you.
