Didn’t like female reader

I skipped ALL female reader. Her accent was nail on a chalk board. It was hard to listen to her. Therefore, I didn’t get the whole picture. Hence three stars.

This book was soo goood!!

Idk why people are saying the narrators are bad but I have bought 118 audio books on this app. I’ve got to say they did a great job!!! I’ve heard horrible narration and these two blew me away!! Can’t wait for the next book! The story was great! Can’t wait to have more from Lauren Asher!

Cute, easy story. If you like a lot of “will they, won’t they,” back and forth, you’ll get your fill of it here. Characters are likable (well the ones that are supposed to be). Nothing earth shattering but sometimes that’s not what I need !

Great summer listen

Really good audio book. fun interesting great banter and you can not beat F1. well worth your credit

The effort to bring the characters to life

The audio had a squeaking sound in the background that was distracting but overall I loved the story and the narrators were amazing.

Pure love

The story is corny but captivating. Aiden Snow does a great job as the male narrator just like all of his other works but Ramona Master’s narration is too bouncy and annoying. There’s too much emphasis on some words in a sentence and a repetitive crescendo and decrescendo in most of her sentences that is unpleasant.

Great story, terrible execution on the female narrator.

I understand that the female narrator is supposed to be Spanish, but in reality she Mispronounced a lot of the Spanish words. It did not sound like Spanish nor did certain words actually sound like they were supposed to. The accents were awful. That’s what prevented me from getting into the book on Maya’s sections. The narrator was pretty good.

Throttled is the first book in the Dirty Air series Lauren Asher. As a Formula 1 fan I was excited and nervous to start this series, but it delivers and I’m looking forward to reading the next installment!

Maya joins her brother Santi for his first season with Bandini, a top F1 team. She doesn’t plan on falling for Santi’s teammate and rival, Noah Slade. I loved all the F1 content, the positive therapy representation, and the spice! This is a fun, fast paced, steamy sports romance!

ROMANCE FOR THE AGES

I loved every moment of this book. How he helps her get her YouTube channel going and advocates for her and goes to therapy without her asking to find out why he pushes her away. It’s just sweet and romantic!! And don’t even get me started on the spice 🥵🥵🥵.

Such a good ending

I love how Lauren brought the video and vlogging aspect full circle even at the end and I loved Noah’s growth as a character
