I love the story

While the narration is not my favorite, I enjoy the storyline and these wild characters. 4.5/5 overall

Hot sizzling chemistry

I LOVED listening to this book. The chemistry between Donte and Tempest is scorching hot. Tempest is so fierce and Emery Erickson did a fantastic job narrating Tempest, including the voice of Donte. This book was super spicy and dark which made it so much better. I had to question myself when I giggled at the scene where Donte was doing some horrible violent things. But he’s a freaking sweetheart in some serial killer kinda way. I loved his nickname for Tempest, little hurricane.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 but I'm rounding up because I'm interested to read more of Jagger Cole's books.

I enjoyed the read. For a while, I felt like there were too many characters introduced so quickly and early on. I think it would've been easier to keep up with if some of the characters were introduced throughout, but I don't know how that would've changed the storyline - double-edged sword I guess.

With that being said, I really did enjoy the book. Dante and Tempest were great together. I loved her feistiness and how much selfless love she poured into her aunt and brothers. Dante was an ass in the beginning, but that was to be expected with a marriage of convenience.. however, I did grow to love him as his affection and possessiveness towards Tempest grew.

I listened to the audiobook and both narrators were fabulous. The only thing I would change is that I wish it was in duet style because neither of them were the best at portraying the opposite sex, but I can look passed that because I still loved the story.

Tempest…

This author and both narrators were new to me. I didn’t know what to expect. Honestly they almost lost me about 3 hours from the end. Tempest was starting to make some questionable decisions and I don’t like stupidly reckless heroines. Or Heros for that matter. But I prevailed and kept going and it all worked out. It was a good story, the twist was nice only a little predictable but I read too many of these to be that surprised by anything anymore. If you have this in your wishlist but not sure if you want it due to a lack of reviews, I’d say go for it. Toxic love is worth your credit.

I’ve been dreaming about the day when Jagger finally gifted us with audio books. I love Dante and Little Hurricane 🌀. The narrators were perfect and gave us the best of both worlds. 👩‍🍳 💋

A surprising hea

its definitely not a usual story. But i loved it! It was different and had a Dwight schrute reference which will now make it a top ten read!!

Tempest and Dante

This is my first Jagger Cole book and it was very good. Tempest's grandfather, Charles, makes a deal for Dante to marry his 18-year old daughter but Tempest sneakily intercepts to save her and ends up marrying him. Dante called her Little Hurricane and her name is well deserved. She is very strong willed because she feels she has nothing to lose as she is dealing with a serious medical condition. And she does not bite her tongue and does not care if she insults you. She was awesome! Dante's sister, Bianca, was also great. There is a villain that they are all unaware of. The last quarter of the book had edge of your seat action as well as love. Walker Williams and Emery Erickson did an excellent job with the narration.

✨Thoughts✨
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 a great story! The main characters are so interesting. Tempest is like a force of nature - she had me in stitches the entire time. She's a total badass who refuses to let one traumatic event define her. Despite battling health issues, she manages to outsmart Dante Sartorre into marrying her to protect her young and innocent aunt.

𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞, Dante is also dealing with his own struggles, including the loss of loved ones, and his best friend Tempest's sister. Tempest believes he was involved in his sister's death, which makes their relationship even more complicated. Both of them are fighting through their emotions to uncover the truth, making for a gripping and spicy story that had me hooked from beginning to end.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 dual narration by Walker Williams and Emery Erickson brought these characters to life - I can't wait to hear them narrate the rest of the series.

𝐈𝐟 you're a fan of mafia romance with a dark twist, this series is definitely worth diving into!

Great storyline, keeping me on my toes till the end, did not expect to laugh and embrace the ending.
