Never date your (sexy-as-hell) next-door neighbor. File that under great advice - not taken. Especially if he’s hot. And witty. And successful. Did I mention hot? Never mind. The point’s the same. I moved to Wildrose Landing because my life was a structure-fire burning down around me. They say a phoenix rises from the ashes, new. I crossed my fingers and took a leap of faith, hoping that proved true.

Really great!
Super enjoyable! The writing, storyline, and dialogue are all excellent and make up feel like you’re in the book with them living the story! The narration is fantastic - as you would expect with these two! Just a really great book, highly recommend!

Just ok!
The first book was great so expectations were high on this one. And it was just not that good. I am a fan of Jason Clarke from a ton of other books but on this one his voice was just super whiny. The storyline was mediocre at best.

Only read if you are young.
I was enjoying this book until the author portrayed the 66 year old aunt as elderly, feeble and dying. I am 66 and run a thriving company with five thousand customers grossing 1.8 mil last year and employing many associates and sub contractors. I was totally offended by Jolie Day portraying a 66 year old in this way. Jolie, I hope that you are not feeble and dying at 66.
