When Kelevra decides to make it his mission to draw those monsters out to play, Rin unsurprisingly resists, but that only makes him more invested. Suddenly the impulsive prince realizes he’s in this for the long haul, even if that means forcing Rin’s hand through an arranged betrothal. Rin has no idea why Kel has taken such an intense interest in him, but no matter what he tries, he can’t shake free of him. The sex between them may be explosive, and Kelevra may be the most attractive person he’s ever seen, but is that enough for Rin to drop his guard and reveal all his secrets?

amazing

I was in a chokehold from chapter 1. the VA for this did a stunning job as each individual character, changing his voice just the right way to show who was talking. I finished it in two days and desperately need more. the writing was chef kiss.

another 5 stars for a Chani book, no surprise here

I absolutely loved this book. No surprise here tho' since I love all Chani's books. She has her own style and even though I know she has a way of throwing in there a plot twist that will literally make your head spin I am always surprised by it. This is one of my fav series ever, and I cannot wait to hear the other audiobooks.

The narrator did an exceptional job. He sounds exactly how I imagine Rin would. Somehow his voice matched his personality perfectly.

I highly recommend this audiobook and the whole series.

Devils of Vitality is dark, so I suggest you read the TW first and don't take them lightly, but if you are into it, this series is a h3ll of a ride.

holy dark possessive hotness

This book was amazing and terrifying and brilliant! having read echo prior to this it was not shocked by how dark it was but echo did shock me a bit having previously only read 'a bright celestial sea' and 'Sea of endless light' I did not take the warnings as seriously as I should have. I did however realize that I love the dark romance genre (or at least this sample thereof) and have subsequently done a deep dive into this world! I really wish more of the devils of vitality more on audiobook because I enjoyed those More than reading. The narrator on this particular one was not my favorite but still did an amazing job and still preferable to reading it myself 😂 I highly recommend this book BUT DON'T SKIP THE AUTHOR'S NOTE!!

Spicy Sci-Fi MM College Romance

Full disclosure: I am such a nerd. When I saw a SCI-FI COLLEGE romance, I was so excited to listen to this!

This book may not be for everyone, but I have a thing for morally gray (and black) MMCs. Fair warning: Kel is DIABOLICAL. He truly is a master manipulator who WILL DO whatever it takes to get what he wants. Check the list.

That being said, isn’t it so fun to watch them fall? I am obsessed with it and this book played it out beautifully.

Bonus, there are other morally dubious characters in this book, and their banter was so much fun to read.

The narrator, Wesley Lynch, has such a unique voice. These characters are young and in college, and I got that vibe instantly from the narrator. No shade to the male narrator community, but sometimes they meld into a uniform “dark and growly” sound. Wesley has such a unique sound. He was very enjoyable to listen to. Plus, this was a 3rd person POV book and I think that the narration helped my brain process it better. I’m not normally a fan of 3rd person, but this book wasn’t bad.

This is an interconnected universe but the books can be read as standalones. I’m probably going to read the next book because I loved Sila (the twin brother to Rin) so much that I NEED to read his story.

TLDR: Spicy, MM, Sci-Fi college, enemies-to-lovers romance with a morally gray (eh, closer to black) MMC.

I have reread this book so many many times. The intensity and raw energy between Kel and Rin is chef kiss awesomeness!! I loved hearing them and just had a grand listening experience.

I loved reading this book and I was super excited to finally get the audio!
The story was brought to life by the narrator so we'll. with each character entering the story with different voices which matched them all perfectly.

Rin & Kel

This is book two in a series but can be read as a standalone. However, if you have read/listened to ECHO, you will have a greater understanding of the world and characters. This book is dark and twisted in the best way. There are sociopaths and psychopaths everywhere. Rin and Kel fit together, belong together. Read/listen to get their story. Wesley Lynch did an excellent job bringing this story to life.

Fascinating & Spicy❤️‍🔥Great Story & Narration🎧

An amazing and out of this world story that hooks you in right from the start, grabbing your attention and holding it hostage the entire time. Run Varun and his twin brother Sila wanted to get away from their controlling father, enrolling in the Academy in another galaxy put enough distance between them. Rin’s plan to keep a low key existence gets blown apart when he captures the attention of the diabolical Kelevra Diar, the Imperial Prince, and what the royal highness wants he gets. Rin thought it would be a one and done deal, since Kelevra is known for that, but Kelevra wanted more of Rin. Wow, the layers and complexity of this story and the characters are incredible, and so is the world building. There is never a dull moment in this book, a cleverly plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, mystery, twists, charged emotions, and steamy romance. Chani Lynn Feener, thank you for this fascinating story and wild ride.

🎧📚🎧 Wesley Lynch did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life, giving each a voice that was fitting and was believable in every role. His portrayal of the characters was spot on, and he nailed it in the lead roles, grasping every aspect of their personality and demeanor, especially in the lead roles, Kelevra and Rin, as well as Sila. He set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had your feeling them all. Lynch is an entertaining storyteller and his performance elevates the story to another level.

WOW! FIVE ⭐

This is not my usual genre or trope but the book was so dang good. At first I felt the narrator wasn't quite right, but then I remembered these are college kids and it all clicked into place. I will definitely be listening to this again.
