Being a Myth Doesn’t Live Up to the Hype
Leander Mast didn’t ask to come to Rivenfield, and he definitely didn’t ask to be thrust into the middle of a neighborhood battle over an ancient tree, but as a Giwoggle—who goes wherever a witch might conjure him—he doesn’t have much choice in the matter.
And Leander definitely doesn’t count on getting stuck.
While Leander attempts to get home, struggling against the magic keeping him from stepping outside the town limits, he butts heads with Ben, his new grumpy neighbor.

Ben Wise knows two things about life. Firstly, he would love to date one of the new monsters in town because humans are, without a doubt, boring. Secondly, he hates the man who took over his neighbor’s house. He’d had a running battle with the old man as well. It’s as if the universe decided to try to drive Ben insane because everywhere he goes, he runs into Leander—the jerk who cut down his tree.
The grocery store.
The local diner.
His own backyard.
Ben is plagued by Leander’s presence.
And finally, they even match on the new monster dating app Ben has been using.
Ben swears he’s going to walk the other way any time he sees Leander—online or off—but fate seems to have other ideas. And Ben is furious about it.

Very cute and funny story

Narrator's accents were distracting, but the story was cute and funny with a new type of monster.

Loved it

I loved Conjured Chaos Kisses and struggled to put it down. The story flowed well and I enjoyed reading Leander Mast and Ben Wise's story. Keval Shah's voice really brings this story to life and makes you love the characters even more.

I think this one is going on my re-listen-to list. I devoured it and even though I tried to make it last, I just couldn’t help myself, it was too good. If you’ve enjoyed any of Ki’s books then you know what I’m talking about.

It’s been mentioned that a certain side character will eventually be getting his own book and I can’t wait… also hoping there might be a certain bonus scene of something that Ben mentions wanting to happen in the epilogue.

Keval does a great job as always.

Nests of Love!

This is an absolutely adorable listen! This cover completely matches these two and I loved that Leander was in his monster form quite a bit and we got that POV. Keval narrated Ben's attitude to a tee, and he was perfect at bringing out all of Leander's instinctive mate needs! The way Leander just scooped Ben up and put him in a makeshift bed nest of all types of household linen items was all kinds of adorable. It is a quick listen, but the writing still attaches you to both Ben and Leander and their quirky mating!

Another good one!

I've literally read every book from Ki Brightly. This one is a little different, going into the supernatural world and combining monsters and humans. But it worked really well! I liked the banting at the beginning of the story, and there was no flat moment through the end. It just gets going to the point. The narrator was perfect as always.

War!

This is war! Ben and Leander are so cute as they battle. Ben is convinced that Leander is the horrible person who cut down his tree and it doesn't matter how attractive he is. Too bad he just can't resist! Loved it.
Keval Shah is incredibly entertaining.

Sweet and Funny

When I read the ebook, it was fun...but listening to the audio...I had a blast. Took me back to experiencing all the scenes on a different level. It was wonderful. The narrator was great. He what made it very enjoyable. His accent for Ben was on point...brought out Ben's sass and attitude and had me LOL throughout. This will definitely be one I listen to again:)

Interesting Storyline

Interesting storyline with plenty of lighthearted banter between the MC's. Short enough to listen to in a day and will leave you wanting more. Excellent narration by Keval. Highly recommend!
