About this listen

I can’t tell if we’re fighting…or flirting?

Being traded to the Seattle Vipers has left me with mixed feelings. On the one hand, they’re my team, the team I’ve loved and supported since I was a kid, but on the other hand, he’s here. Him. Ant Decker. Infamous NHL bad boy. Right wing to my left. A man who’s made it his sole purpose in life to be better than me.

Well, the joke’s on him, because I’m faster, and my stats are better than his.

Not that I’m competing with him. Of course not. I wouldn’t stoop to his level.

He’s the most infuriating person I’ve ever met. A dark, chaotic presence that distracts me.

When we’re not coming to blows on the ice, he tries to provoke me by calling me Princess. And Pretty Boy...and Babygirl.

I hate it. Obviously, I do. It makes me so angry I can hardly see straight.

So why does my body react as if I like it?

Excellent Audio

I am absolutely in love with Robbie Mcguire and Ant Decker. When I read Poetry On Ice, I thought it was hilarious but listening to it, it's hysterical! Liam and Tim totally nailed these characters and killed their performance!

This is a MUST read

I think I just read Jesse's best book to date! I'm not kidding! I think I have almost this entire book highlighted! I absolutely could not get enough of Robbie and Ant.

I feel like Poetry On Ice was written just for me. It has everything I look for in an M/M sports romance. A confident, cocky but needy bottom, a reluctant yet cocky “I don't do relationships” top. There's a lace jockstrap, cum gutters, and a sweet tattoo. The banter is hilarious, the spice is smokin hot!

Everything about this book appealed to me. It unlocked a new kink too! Everytime Ant told Robbie he was pretty, called him Princess or baby girl I melted!!
I laughed a lot and even though it's not sad, I cried. It is so well written and Jesse made these characters so lovable and so endearing!

Robbie and Ant have hated each other for years, but when Robbie gets traded to the Seattle Vipers, the lack of chemistry on the ice forces their coach to take matters into his own hands. Robbie and Ant are not only forced into long one on one training sessions, but also forced to share a room when they have away games. Not only does the chemistry improve on the ice but the chemistry off the ice is off the charts!

Robbie Mcguire and Ant Decker just took the #1 spot of my favorite couple for 2024!

Poetry for my ears!

Seriously loved this book when I read it and Tim and Liam brought these characters so perfectly to life! Must read if you love hockey and a golden retriever who just doesn’t give up!

Sweet

It was sweet. Once together it was poetry in motion. Liked the characters, thought i would want more angst but it was funny instead and enjoyed it.

Too many metaphors

I wanted to love this… I’ve heard so many good things, but the fact that I had to hear 4-5 metaphors for EVERY situation ruined it. The jump from enemies to lovers was way too quick and the quick personality change of Robbie was too unbelievable. The feminization kink was an interesting take but I the author really didn’t go into it as much as I thought. Narration was 10/10 though. Overall not with a credit IMO.

Too much nasty stuff!

I didn’t like this book at all. I listened to the end hoping it would change my mind. I needed a shower after to wash the nasty off. Just not my cup of tea.

Beautiful story - lackluster narration

This is an amazing story but the narrators did not do it justice - it was lacking in emotional range and chemistry.
