About this listen

An eye-opening exploration of the human mind and free will–real science wrapped up in a novel.

In the hope of distracting himself from his heartache, George Bennet, a mild-mannered professor of theoretical physics, accepts an invitation by UNESCO to join a dream team of experts assisted by a powerful AI, tasked with unravelling the enigma of the human mind.

As this seemingly innocent academic investigation twists and turns, George suspects they are being duped into aiding a sinister plan, which threatens to shatter the very foundations of society. When the unthinkable truth emerges as their final conclusion, and the plan is exposed, George and the team must be silenced. No matter the cost.

What is the unthinkable truth? Will George survive to reveal it? Only one thing is certain: humanity will never be the same.

Drawing on solid scientific research, The Unthinkable Truth will make listeners question their own human nature.

"Must read. Incredible ... prepare to have thought provoked."

David Powers, author and professor of computer and cognitive science

"A solid writer with a solid hook."

Douglas E. Richards, New York Times bestselling author of Mind's Eye

“An intriguing mix of scientific research and excitement. An unusual and genre-defying debut which the author pulls off with style.”

This book makes you think!

This book isn’t your typically thriller! It has a lot of real scientific components to it which I like as I’m into that kind of thing. But the whole book really just makes you stop and think about the kind of person you are. And the whole time you’re trying to think of what’s next.

A mind-bending thriller with deep insights

Thrillers are my favorite genre and this is one of the more thought-provoking ones I have come across. I always love sci-fi as a topic and this one is especially relevant today because of the rise of AI. I like the themes behind free will and the human mind and narrator also did a great job!

Fantastic

This book is like a science thriller rollercoaster! A neuroscientist wrote it, so you know the science is legit, but it's wrapped up in a suspenseful story that'll keep you guessing. Can't say what the truth is, but it'll mess with your head in the best way!
