Should be called: “How NOT to be a parent.”

Although this was a well-written story, I was grinding my teeth and growling through most of it. I was raised by an absentee father and a clueless mother, so I have background in this. The narration was great, though.

Cute & Fun!

Lori is a single mom raising two kids. She works hard and doesn’t make much time for play. When her daughter convinces her to join a dating app, things get fun.

Queue Peter. Lori and Peter had a great dynamic. Lori’s inner-monologue had me chuckling. This is a fun, quirky story of single parenting and dating. I enjoyed the humor mixed in with the difficulties of everyday life. It’s a fun story and the narrator was great!

This is a good book to listen to on a rainy day. Narrator is perky and the book has a simple storyline that makes for easy, relaxing e.njoyment.

Fun, laughter and concern

I chose this book for the title, and am so happy I did!! The story was fun (especially for a woman several decades or so on this journey of life) Could relate to the parenting and still being a child to a parent. Nice romantic story w/o in your face graphic scenes. Loved it

amazingly entertaining

I loved this story. It was very funny and entertaining with perfect romance. Fantastic narrator. I couldn't stop listening. My favorite in while.

It was a very OK

The shark and I had a very good introduction to reel you into the story, i’m glad this is free with audible membership. However I definitely wish I would’ve listen to a sample first. The person doing the voiceover for the book was good, bye hard to make you bond with the characters.

They were hints of emotion throughout the book-and it just felt very lacking. Could not tell you if it was the story and general or the person doing the audio for this or even combination of both.

At the end of the day it was OK. That’s the best thing I can say.

Sometimes you need fluffy

When you need a fluffy read and an amazing voice actor to make it sound plausible: this book. Happy ending guaranteed, and some cheesiness that is only found in fluffy romances. There was one hot sex scene and some cussing. The teenager in the book had some rough choices to make too, so mom got to live through that too. It was a great escape though and I recommend a credit.

Definitely worth a listen!

Such a fun loving story of a 2nd chance at love in midlife. It was refreshing listening to something that had a main character of 40 and not a young love.

Cute story, enjoyable listen

I really enjoyed this book had a cute little love story and no graphic sex, which was nice. I am looking at more books from this author. The narrator was very good also.
