a Beautiful, Romantic Story to Love

So sweet and passionate, I absolutely love Griffin and Joy. Their story flows beautifully, and it's wonderful getting to know them both as the story unfolds. I highly recommend this book. The voice acting is excellent as well.

This story was so good and the narrators were outstanding! Even though I’ve never been to Paris ( although I hope to go someday) I feel like Lauren has let me see some very interesting parts of it through her storytelling. This is definitely a credit worthy book but it was an added bonus that it is part of the Romance package.

Beautiful to read, but even better on Audible.

What a wonderful romance! This story takes you to well known as well as lesser-known places throughout Paris, the City of Lights (or should I say the City of Angels?); as well as a mouth-watering food journey; and an immersion into the world of scents and language as Griffin and Joy embark upon their beautiful romance. As they learn the city together, they learn each other as well, and the warmth of their building love is a wonderful experience for the reader. I recommend the Audible version as it has narrators Grace Grant and the mega-talented actor, Richard Armitage – his acting skills translate beautifully to the world of narration. The narrators infuse the story with so much heart, they elevate the story another level.

This will appeal to you if you like intelligent, respectful protagonists with delicious banter, unmistakable chemistry and sizzling sexual tension; you love to explore romantic cities; you can wait for a slow burn romance to take its course towards combustion (wowza); and you delight in the raw emotion that takes you unexpectedly through turbulence before you are righted again. In addition to the romance, I loved the way this story explored the power and beauty of brotherly love. It had my throat constricting with emotion and tears. Together with the excellent narration, the story enraptured me completely. The happy ever after satisfied the romance lover in me.

Joy Delivered!

I absolutely loved everything about this romance! This fun, witty, sexy love story transported me into the heart of Paris, and in turn, nestled Joy, Griffin and Paris into my heart as well! Joy is looking for a fresh start from her life in Texas, when she takes a new job in Paris. She is so excited to experience all that the city has to offer. When she meets a sexy Englishman at a bakery on her first day, their banter is fun and sexy. The sparks fly, but the timing isn't right. Unfortunately, Joy discovers this sexy Englishman is her translator for work. Griffin needs this job as a translator to continue his wanderlust and complete his list. But this smart, sexy, American in Paris will turn his world upside down and make him question his purpose.
As they navigate their working relationship, they can't stop their witty, flirty banter, while fighting their forbidden desires. Joy and Griffin are great characters and I was cheering for them all through their thrilling, moving, and romantic journey. I loved visiting all the wonderful Parisian areas. Blakely not only brought the famous locations of Paris to life, but she skillfully brought out all the subtle touches, smells, and tastes that will make you fall for the city of love & lights.

A story this seductive, romantic, and moving needs exceptional narrators and Blakey chose
beautifully! Grace Grant was the perfect Joy. With every word and inflection, I could feel Joys' thrill and excitement as she began her new life. This is my first listen to Richard Armitage's work. I was totally lost to his smooth, rich, voice, and his perfect timing and delivery. Of course I totally swooned as I heard his sexy english accent, speaking french as well.

I loved every minute of this romantic, seductive love story, it is listening at it's finest!

I loved this book. I loved the characters, the story line and the narration. Richard Armitage was amazeballs. I loved how mature both of the characters were. The city of Paris was a wonderful third main character in this book. Please give this book a shot--you will not regret it. I found myself trying to finish it in one listen. I would have if life had not got in the way.

Lauren Blakely did it again

I fell in love with Paris and French Speaking british guys and of course, Richard Armitage did it again. *sigh* I love reading and listening to Lauren’s book. It’s not the same plot.

I adored this book! The witty, funny banter between Joy and Griffin was so fun! The narrations by Richard and Grace were superb! This was my first Lauren Blakeley audio and now I think I need all her books!

All the feels

I have listened to almost every one of Lauren Blakely’s books and Wanderlust has me feeling all the feels. By far one of my favorites! If your looking for a light hearted listen that will make you laugh and smile and there’s only a smidge of angst then please get this!

Absolutely loved this storyline!! The narration is to die for!! Sexy, swoony, funny and oh so hot! I highly recommend this audiobook!
