Love it.

I was skeptical after reading the ritual but this one didn’t disappoint at all. The back story was a little confusing but man the plot twist was wowww

I’m off to read Carnage next and the spade brothers already get me going, but Tyson 🥵🥵 I thought it was going to be hard to top Ryat but I think Tyson takes it for me!

I have read 3 books by this author about the Lords! This one is my favorite ( all are great!). This is super spicy! Very funny! Also a great plot. The narrator’s did an excellent job. Heather has read several other books I have listened to and this is the first I have heard of the male narrator. Love him. Super good read, kept me interested. Will definitely be reading more from this author.

So far, Tyson is my favorite character in the series. Need another installment on the Spade brothers. I’m hooked.

Tessier has a knack for keeping readers on their toes with the never-ending unexpected twists and turns, and "The Sacrifice" is another masterpiece full of surprises. The big reveal in this story was particularly astonishing, serving as one of the most unexpected twists in the entire series.

While I didn’t feel as deeply connected to the characters in this book as I have with others in Tessier's universe, the story was nonetheless enthralling. The dynamics between Tyson and Laikin, set against the backdrop of revenge and forced matrimony, created a compelling and at times unsettling narrative. Tessier explores themes of power, control, and the blurred lines between love and obsession with a boldness that is both jarring and fascinating.

Tyson's character, driven by vengeance, is portrayed with a complexity that makes him more than just a ruthless alpha. Addicted to this series

Great way they blended the books together, giving glimpse without giving away spoilers of the next books. The female voice actress was amazing, but the male was mid compared to the other LORD books. Just didn’t feel like he was into his character.

Story Line Dragged On

Loved the story but it kinda dragged on. I still listened to the whole story though!

A Close 2nd

Nothing will beat book 1 {The Ritual} as far as narrators BUT this wasn’t bad. Shantel Tessier’s writing is SPIIIIICY….I highly recommend. There are quite a few twists that made me audibly gasp {that are not sex related}…very very good story! The spice is just a bonus really.
