I enjoyed it

These books kept me listening and I liked the characters. I was going to complain that the characters were acting like they been in this new world for year when it's only been a week but then the author addressed this through the characters themselves. I also really liked it ended at a good point. I've gotten tired of authors that like to end their book at a cliffhanger that makes it feel more like they just cut their story in half instead of actually having a contained book in a series. this book gives you closure, with a good hook to keep you interested for what's going to happen next. overall, I thought it was a good read, not my all-time favorite RPG lit novel but still worth the listen.

on the level of "main character hides his strength

great pace. not much filler bs and narrated perfectly!
once you start this book you won't stop until it's finished.

Great Litrpg series

This is one of my favorite books that I’ve recently come out. I definitely recommend it to anybody out there getting started in the Litrpg series.

I slept on this series for far to long…

Wow, such a well thought out concept for a story. The writing was great and the pacing was perfect. 10/10 would recommend.

slightly disappointing

the author gives the main character (who is of average intelligence through most of the book) frequent noughts of brainlessness, where he forgets that he has more than 2 neurons to rub together.
these instances always lead to difficulties and feel like a lazy way the author made obstacles for the main character.

the systems ,for the most part, is well done but a handful of occasions don't make sense. a very stripped down example goes like this...

system: mc, would you like to use this important object to drive the plot forwards?
mc: no
system: oh... hey you! random person standing remotely near mc, would you like to use this important object to drive the plot forwards without the owners permission?
random person: YES!
system: great! well mc, prepare for for obstacles.

Good story dimmed by autistic MC

The MC is VERY autistic and fully incapable of engaging in human conversation.

Unless some story point changes his deeply damaged mind this means the MC is almost certain to never be able to develop any meaningful relationships - certainly any romance will be deeply uncomfortable and forced.

For a story about grinding this is fine - but very limiting for a story expanding further.

One of the best LITRPG in a long time.

Honestly... its a great listen. lots of skills, good system, overpowered mc and great fights. lots of great characters. MC is relatable. Get it you won't regret.
