Publisher's summary

Film and TV star Keke Palmer tenderly shares the Ojibwe folk tale of the first dreamcatcher and shows how its message of our connection to the natural world persists to this day.

Bedtime stories are narrated by the world’s most celebrated voices and written with no beginning, middle, or end so you don’t stay up to hear what happens next. They're interesting enough to give your mind something to focus on, but delivered in a way that encourages sleep.

This title is part of The Audible Sleep Collection, exclusive audio experiences created to help you fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake up in the right morning mindset. New and free for members.

About the author: Linda LeGarde Grover is a member of the Bois Forte Band of Ojibwe and professor of American Indian studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Beautiful story

A beautiful legend about the history of the dream catcher. The details are so vivid I could visualize the the story as it unfolded. Now I want an original Ojibwe dream catcher.

Origin of the "Dream Catcher"

Loved hearing how this native American legend may have begun. The story was very detailed, to help the reader imagine it. The super quiet whispering voice of the narrator, was hard to hear. Not all parts of this story needed whispering.

Great story, wonderful narrator!

I love these stories, I can so feel myself sitting around the fire and listening to the elders. I can also see myself as an elder telling stories.

Stories have been a significant part of my life for as long as I can remember remembering. I highly recommend these audible ""bedtime" stories for any time of day! Especially to listen to while you're sitting with your children, maybe doing some small craft that the story inspires.

Peaceful slumber

This is a lovely story and I have played it a number of times. The narrator’s voice is particularly soothing and the cares of the day slip away as the spider weaves. The story and the storyteller lull me to sleep every time.

Knocks me out EVERY TIME

I was not a fan or believer in sleep stories! I am now. The pace, the tone of her voice. I have listened to this story many times. I restart it every time, I have never heard the end ....
