Great book the best

This is a great trilogy although the narrator changed on the third book, overall great story that kept me listening for hours. Wish all books were this long and entertaining. i would recommend.

description of the geography in the south puts you there, the emotion emitted keeps you wanting more..thanks for writing this trilogy.

Everything

There wasn’t anything I disliked about it. Once I started I couldn’t stop. I had to force myself to stop it. Each chapter was more heart racing than the previous. I had only seen movies or articles about how the south really was and if truth be known probably still is somewhat.

Excellent! Looking forward to the next in the series being released! Sad that so many of the same themes exist in the world today!

Full of history

it's very long.. Recommend listening to one book and then take a break before starting on the next

Intense and Constantly Twisting Plot

Had me in its grip for the entire 90+ hours it took to tell the story. Greg Iles takes us through our country’s dark past with characters that I know walk amongst us today.
All three narrators hand off the baton from book to book with almost seamless effort. They maintained the seriousness and emotional baggage of each key character.

Does not get much better!

What a rollercoaster of a ride! With tears in my eyes I could not wait to pick up where I left off the day before and just kept getting sucked into the story!!! So well written…., so well performed! And what a story!!!! Loved every minute of such long book/books!!!! 6 out of 5 stars for me!!!

Very interesting

These books are great. They are very interesting and keeps you hooked but they are too long and drawn out. The author is very talented. It takes a lot of work to keep all those details and characters straight.
