About this listen

Author's Note: There is a detailed description to follow...but the purest, best way to experience this book is to just dive in knowing as little as possible. I advise against reading the description or reviews beyond the point you realize you want to read this book. Happy reading! - Nico

Conspiracy theories meets science FACTion in this novel about all the topics we have been discouraged from questioning!

Questions like... What if aliens are real, history goes back more than a few thousand years, and the monetary system is used to control populations?

What's the story?

The Man is among the most powerful beings on the planet and has controlled human affairs on Earth through his influence over world leaders, the media, corporations, banks, schools and militaries our entire lives. But as powerful as he is, The Man still faces competition from The Cabal—a secret society of families that claim to be descended of the true creators of mankind and feel entitled to dominion over the human race, and the Draco—advanced reptilian beings that consider Earth a colony of their intergalactic empire and live underground, exploiting our negative emotions as an energy source.

The Man His Means & His Methods is a groundbreaking novel that follows the stories of half a dozen characters whose stories are all tied together through their dealings with "The Man".

Who are the characters?

Mark: a bipolar conspiracy theorist on a quest to reveal to the world the existence of The Man
Luke: a skeptical ex-Army sniper and adrenaline junkie who agrees to accompany his brother Mark on his crazy quest
Mr. Chen: a shy, obedient, middle-aged Chinese virgin with nothing going for him that The Man seeks to shape into the next Chairman Mao
Frank: a renegade archeologist who secretly excavates artifacts that challenge mainstream narratives toward the end of discovering and sharing hidden truths about the origin and evolution of mankind on Earth
Hope: The Man’s version of Ghislaine Maxwell—a beautiful femme fatale with a sympathetic backstory who is used to bait, seduce, deceive and exploit people on The Man’s behalf
Randy: a psychopathic 1%-er solely concerned with self-gratification and the accumulation of money and power
Bortimus: the viceroy of an inner-Earth reptilian society that draws on negative human emotions as a source of energy

What's it about?

  • It’s about power.
  • It’s about the power of money, and how it functions as a mechanism to control populations.
  • It’s about the power of media, and the role subtle persuasion plays in shaping thought.
  • It’s about the power of governments, and how institutions establish and maintain control. It’s about the power of deception, and how easy we can all be misled and exploited.
  • It’s about the power of hope, and the danger hope presents.
  • It’s about the power of sex, and how it’s used to control the men who control the world. It’s about the power of will, and the evolution it propels through suffering.

Worth the time and a couple credits!!!

I don’t remember putting this in my wishlist but i went back and forth over a week or two about purchasing it. The preview had nothing to do with the book which is why it took so long for me to actually commit, even though the preview was pretty entertaining.
I still have 4 hours to go before I finish. Im only writing this review now because I know my ADD will probably prevent me from doing one when I finish the book.
Anyways, yeah the story uses conspiracy theories as the motivation behind the characters in a tasteful/ nuanced manner.
All in all, one of the best books I’ve listened to in a long time. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. Supremely surprised that this book isn’t talked about more.

Thanks for the story.

Labor of love, logic & retaining sanity I’m sure…

Ambitious and audacious. What’s not to love when executed so well. Hard to believe this is your first outing as a published author. The whole concept and execution are very well done - from the words written on the page (literally - in calligraphy!) to the art work included in the book to the authors own reading of the audio book… all done exceptionally well. Impressive all around. Highly recommend to anyone who’s found themselves questioning the sanity of society as a whole.

Completely enjoyable ride!

If you are any kind of truther, from the esoteric to the mainstream, you will love this. It has it all, and blends it into a 19 hour smoothie of fun. Loved the narration...there are quite a few editing problems, but it's not a big deal. All around, I haven't enjoyed anything this much in a long time. Thank you! I would read a sequel, definitely.

One for the ages

While hyper sexualized and slightly ridiculous, especially in stereotypical Asian accent given to the character Mr. Chen. This novel is basically the conspiracy theory Atlas Shrugged and covers just about all the bases. Painting a version of reality and secret conflicts therein, logically derived from the various points of information collecting dust in the corners of the internet that academia on main stream news don’t speak about. Expertly weaving a story through these points and portraying a world where hyper wealth sudo god like intellectuals manipulate world affairs through—vice, blackmail, and finance for the betterment of the human species.

Incel-Troother Erotica and nothing more.

This was drivel, plain and simple. From being poorly organized, incoherent, and chalk-full of petty hacks to the constant forced insertion of awkward references..."tHe PoPuLaR GoVeNoR oF cAlIFoRnIa....A pHaRmAcEuTiCaL cOmPaNy NaMeD 'GeIzEr..." it was wavering between a tortuous bore and

No one loves a conspiracy more than this reader, and the layering this book teased at the onset had me intrigued. but 8 hrs in, I can not take another second of the author's tinny voice play-acting through yet-another expression of his involuntary celibate fantasies.

Applaud the ambition, but the reality is that this work needed editors, proofreading, and someone telling the author "no" at certain points, like the whiny diatribes on human psychology (like Mark falling for Hope mid-capture) that belong precisely nowhere in the narrative arc. Far too much meandering down the youtube and reddit channels produced this overly-matrixed labyrinth of story threads.

And whichever one of you reviewers tried to ham-fist Atlas Shrugged in by way of comparison: shame on you. Ayn Rand's masterpiece brooks no comparison.

I really want to be supportive of new authors like this, but this offering is just too dreaful.
