About this listen
Bloomsbury presents Princess Academy: The Forgotten Sisters by Shannon Hale, read by Mandi Lee.
A New York Times Bestseller
In this third book in New York Times bestselling, Newbery Honor-winning author Shannon Hale's Princess Academy series, Miri goes from student . . . to teacher!
Miri has spent a year at the king's palace, learning all about being a proper princess. But instead of returning to her beloved Mount Eskel, Miri is ordered to journey to a distant swamp and start a princess academy for three sisters, cousins of the royal family. Unfortunately, Astrid, Felissa, and Sus are more interested in hunting and fishing than becoming princesses.
As Miri spends more time with the sisters, she realizes the king and queen's interest in them hides a long-buried secret. She must rely on her own strength and intelligence to unravel the mystery, protect the girls, complete her assignment, and finally make her way home.

Story
Jane is a young New York woman who never seems to find the right man - perhaps because of her secret obsession with Mr. Darcy, as played by Colin Firth in the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. When a wealthy relative bequeaths her a trip to an English resort catering to Austen-obsessed women, however, Jane's fantasies of meeting the perfect Regency-era gentleman suddenly become more real than she ever could have imagined. Is this total immersion in a fake Austenland enough to make Jane kick the Austen obsession for good?

AMAZING
This book was really interesting and enjoyable to hear! The only problem i could see was that catar and queen sabbaths names were pronounced differently fron the other two books. Also thank gosh that mab singing in between the chapters was not included in this book.

A perfect third book!
At first I thought a setting of a swamp would be dreary and mucky. But then as the book continued, suspense sprouted, adventure began, and secrets aroused. I loved the storyline and didn’t want the book to end. Definitely a TOP read! Completely the storyline perfectly! Even revealed a maybe- companion series!

I was a little disappointed about no full cast, but this was great! I found the writing skilful, the narrator excellent, and a fun change of pace from the last book. if you liked the other two this is 100% worth it.

This was a marvelous story, a bit more political than the other two but still just as interesting. Keeps you wanting to see what happens next! And this one doesn’t have the irritating guy singing between each chapter! A GREAT REA- LISTEN! :D

Upset by pronunciation
This third book took awhile to get into and we only stuck with it because of how much we loved the other two books. The first thing that turned us off was the pronunciation of Katar which was different from the first two audio books available on audible. Then the introduction of so many new characters was difficult. It took us almost half of the book to really get to know and like the 3 girls. That being said, the way this story wraps up is worth listening to the first half of the book and putting up with some of the nit picky things. The story line was captivating by the end.

It was good but
I enjoyed the story, but I had a harder time getting into the story because of the different narration. The first two books had a full cast, and as far as I could tell, the same actors as well as the same narrator. This book had just the one, and she was different from the first two books. While she was good, I had a hard time associating it with the series. Certain characters' names in the story were pronounced differently, and it took me a bit to realize who they were talking about in the story. So yes, it was good, but I was a bit disappointed because of those things.
