great book i couldn't stop reading it.very interesting had all the emotions of real life events.

The story was so good. So believable.

I had so many emotions. I loved it. I can't wait to read another book.

the title caught my eye

I liked the whole the thing I predicted the end, I am glad you made it so she gets to play on the playground.

Great premise and well written

I really enjoyed this story and loved hearing how the author came up with the idea for it at the end. I’m excited to see where he goes with the series. I think the narrator did a very good job but I always feel I should read a book I want to creep me out rather than to listen to someone narrate the story for me. I feel it’s hard for narrators to really give the proper tone for me to be in the story enough to thoroughly get freaked out. So I recommend if you’re like me, maybe read the hard copy of this one. I believe it would really give that creepy kid more power. I’m sure there will be plenty of people who feel she did a sufficient enough job to give them the chills. Either way, enjoy

Good listen till the end

Enjoyed the story from beginning to end. So happy with the selection to spend my time with.

Entertaining ghost story

I really disliked the narrator and wonder how she ever got hired. She consistently glottal stopped her t's, which is just bad enunciation and irritating for the listener. I hope she doesn't narrate book 2.

Kaine knows how to write

This book is a straight ghost story. The stakes are real. Kaine continues to connect with the reader, and draw you into his worlds. This is much more tame than his other works, but being the masterful story teller he is, he pivots without missing a beat.

LOVED THIS STORY

I've always been a fan of supernatural stories, and this book had me hooked. I look forward to more on this series from the author.

A must read for all paranormal fans.

All in all a pretty good story. Honestly only part I didn't like was the girls cancer coming back n her dying.
