About this listen

3 Great Stories in One Offering!

All I wanted was a friggin burrito.

My name is Brandon Ferryman. I went out one night to get a burrito. Who knew that such a simple thing would change my life, or end it?

I woke up on the side of the road with some pumpkin-headed monster saying he was the god of death, fate, and justice. I was chosen to run a very special establishment. A place that lay between worlds. A place called the Coffin Hotel.

Now I have to fight monsters, free spirits, and run a mystical hotel. I'm clearly not qualified, but when has that ever stopped anyone from doing anything.

This is my journey of gaining power, fighting injustice, making sure the guests are comfortable, and trying to not lose my head.

The Coffin Hotel is an urban fantasy adventure with action, humor, angels, witches, undead, demons with Karen haircuts, tentacle nerds, over-the-top situations, and burritos!

Should be a movie!

This would be an awesome animated movie!
Dude dies and then gets put in as a hotel manager in purgatory and the clientele is out of those world.
And so is the help.
I'm sure I will be reading/listening to this again and again.
I have the books individually, as well and I know I've listened to the first book at least 3 times. So I had to get them all together for only a credit.
This story is so much fun. And there's burritos 🌯
I give this series/book 9 out of 5 stars.

I actually got most of the cultural references and I thought the paraphrasing was thoughtful.

The author should get a remittance from the burrito making industry. He done flung a craving on me.

Delightful Surprise

I don’t normally make reviews. But this book was amazing. Imagine a hilarious story read by a guy that sounds like Duke nukem. The story was very good and had many jokes inbetween. Some spicy scenes but not enough to take over the story. Also I ate many burritos listening to this hahah. Overall 9/10 and can’t wait for the next book to come out on audible.

Very Good

Hats off to the entire team. The story is outstanding. Some of the best word play I've seen to tell an original tale. The narration was top notch. I love it when the author tells us that 3 or more people say the same thing at the same time and the narration delivers the author's intentions. The narrators truly understood the assignment. Great purchase.

Amazing!

I chose to listen to this in October for some supernatural fun. It was a great choice, so much fun, exciting, and sensual just what I was looking for in the month of Halloween.

A lot of laughs.

I am simple, the story is easy to follow, the humor is well written and the characters stand out. Plus when it comes to villains, the last villain really makes you despise them.
