Funny moments but not hilarious

Slow beginning. Ten-eleven chapters building the main character before it gets interesting. Good plot twist toward the end, but predictable overall.

Belle’s first audiobook great job

I have been waiting for a long time for Belle to get into the audiobook world. This book is really fun and really good. The narrator Larissa is great as well. Well done 😊 I’m ready for your next audiobook

Hysterical!

I have never laughed along with a book like I did this one. It’s quirky and cute and I loved it!

laugh out loud

This book will have you busting out laughing at every page. I loved the characters especially Chris Mindy's best friend. Chris made this book freaking hilarious.

A must add, to your library!

OMG!! this book was a total surprise of complete entertainment!! I don't write reviews, but I had to write this one. The whole storyline had me anticipating more!! If your in the mood for belly rolling laughter, on the edge of your seat, what happens next type book. You NEED this book. It was by happenstance I picked this book. I am sooo glad I did..

Excellent Listenig

I was very excited when I found out that one of Belle Brooks Books was going to Audio (lets hope more do) & stoked that it was That Guy .... Its been a great book to listen to Arlie & Melinda slow to start but builds nicely with some funny interludes , one liners, & for me a couple of laugh out loud moments, for me Chris was way funnier in the book when I was reading & maybe that was what I was expecting when listening, wasn't a bad job at it , just didn't come across , For Me , for the most parts Narration was great , I loved reading this book & liked it just as much listening to it. So Get One Clicking Well Worth Money Spent . :-)

Not one to keep

This is my fist negative review for any book... ever! I couldn’t even finish the book. I felt like I was listening to a poorly written keystones cop skit.
The book is kinda all over the place in the beginning. Clumsy Girl gives up being a Dr. because one of her patients died, then works at an escort agency as a receptionist. While out she meets Ollie. Runs into him a few times, he gets her number & poof he’s gone from the book for several chapters. Then a client want to take her out. Nope she isn’t doing that. So her roommate persuades her to enter a reality show contest where she was, surprise, selected as a contestant. Through a series of unnatural & unbelievable occurrence (supposed to be the funny parts I guess) she gets to the destination only to see Ollie is her romance match. And through more unrealistic & not funny scenarios then get close & learn about each other.... and so on!
As I said above, I didn’t find this book funny at all. Trust me, I get this is fiction, but the scenarios were such a reach that they were just not funny. I’ve never been more glad to return a book as I am this this one.

Tacky

The main female character was very tacky and I could not listen to or finish this book.

Not worth it.

Don't waste your money or credits. Narrator is terrible. Nothing to laugh about. Boring story. Extremely disappointing.
