Fantastic book!!

This was one of the best books that I have listened to in a long time. It is funny, exciting and captivating. Finished in 1 day.
I recommend listening or reading.

total updated romance.

the friendship. total trust. Neverending love. realistic breakup. realistic reunion. where are these men again? do I need to move back to NY? great writer 👏. great narrators. 👍 recommending highly this book.

I’m only 3 hours in but…the main female character is terrible! I’m actually hoping someone better comes into the story to take his heart instead of her. She’s a conniving B****. I’m trying to decide if I’m even going to finish this. She’s a spoiled BRAT!

It was a cutesy book🎧with warm a fuzzy lines but what saved this book was listening to Jason Clarke that f@cken yummy voice gets me all hot & bothered 😂 You’re probably asking is it worth the credit? Just to listen to his voice oh hell yes!😘 In all seriousness it’s a maybe if he JC does it for you then yes❣️

Good read but….

I loved the narration. There was a great balance of humor and drama that kept my attention. The only thing that I couldn’t get past was the forbidden love concept. Especially when the main male character had such a great relationship his interest’s family. Otherwise, I loved the book!

I really enjoyed reading this author.  I look forward to reading more books by this author in the near future.

All of the men hmmm

Behaved as a**holes at some point in the book. Yes they correct their behavior in the end but only after Damon realizes Aria means more than anything to him.
Poor Aria. Her father and brothers all treated her like a child, gave her no credit for being able to make adult decisions and were willing to see her unemployed rather than with their friend who they respected enough to work near the same level with, who saved one of their lives but somehow without question they didn’t think was good enough for their sister? Unbelievable.
And.. the bouncer at the club, Axel, was creepy. Damon better not ever get drunk to the point of being vulnerable around him. Ugh.
Somehow there is still a HEA we assume since she talks about kids in the future in the epilogue but not as good as I expected. I think I gave it 4s more for what it could’ve been than what it was.

Worth the credit!!!!

Loved it! Had me from the start . The narrators voices did the character justice. This has to be one of my Top 5 books

Fun book!

This book doesn't really take itself too seriously, It made me chuckle and it was a good listen over the weekend. Good voices!

Eh…

So first I want to say that the narrators did a fantastic job - Jason Clarke probably saved the book really. The female narrator did a good job too- I’d definitely listen to other books she narrates.

The story. Well, I didn’t find the boss to be all that grumpy tbh. He was more smitten than anything. The story itself had good writing techniques and believable dialogue. I just wish that the dynamic between the characters had been more broody than playful.

The sexy times were lukewarm at best. No details.

The plot was solid but has been done before. A lot. Except this boss (Damon) seemed almost playful. Maybe I’m more used to darker MMCs from mafia books - could be.

If you’re looking for a light read with romance, this may be good for you. It’s definitely not erotica, which is what I typically prefer. I probably won’t read this author again though. I wish this would have been a book that was included in the membership rather than cost a credit.

But, as far as a light, good natured romance this is a decent one.
