Foxx Honeywell here. You know those fun stories where nothing goes wrong and everything is happy and joyful…yeah, that is not this book. This book is where everything goes wrong—multiple times. Horribly wrong. Because sadly, there are people out there who hate others simply for existing. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

Our story picks up a few months after the whole crazy cult thing, right before the horrible, terrifyingly awful holiday called…Christmas. Because, of course, why wouldn’t we end up back on the job right when not only is it bloody cold outside, but when the ho-ho-hoing menace is plaguing poor innocent vampires everywhere?

Anyway, we go on one hunt, and things are relatively normal-ish. It's not until the next one where…well, I maybe almost die. What follows is some resurfacing trauma…and a fair few meltdowns. No doubt terrifying my psycho of a partner, Harlow. Who, by the way, through all this seems okay…maybe. A big maybe. So, yeah, that happens. And you know, if that was all that happened, it would have been fine. Really, it would—mostly. It’s just that what followed…really drove home all those years of no therapy. Like a blast in the face from my past nightmare-inducing trauma. I’m sure it will be fine?

Amazing Narration and story

This was a fantastic read and listen! I can not wait for the next book in the series. This narrator was amazing. Easy to understand and good with an accent! 10 🌟 !

Brats and psychos

I loved the story so much! I definitely laughed a lot and love how things are developing between Harlow and Foxx. We’ve got our adorable little vampire who gets out through the wringer so many times in this one. And our possessive self proclaimed psycho hunter who’s got to protect him. I adored how their dynamic has developed and changes throughout this book. I also really love how Foxx continues to be an adorable brat who’s not about to let those he cares about be harmed. And he does not like the cold at all. I am so excited to see what’s going to happen next for these two. And we get to learn so much more about how unfair the world is for the supernatural. I can’t wait for the rest of this series!!!

Loved it

I loved this book. Matt Williams' voice really brings this story to life. Foxx and Harlow are back for more adventures. Harlow and Foxx get a their first case after some downtime. Things goes terribly wrong. Not long after they find out things are worse and bigger than they originally believed. It get even more dangerous when Foxx is taken. The bad guys didn't take into account was Foxx's strength and Harlow the psycho coming to save his partner. Will they survive it to fight another day?

And now I have a psycho kink…

This second book picks up a couple months after the first one and it is a roller coaster! We get more in-depth info on Fox’s past and it’s heartbreaking, but we get to see that our resident psycho does have feelings and a very strong protective streak. Although he seems very confused about what these feelings mean. It’s kind of cute.
There’s still plenty of sexy times but we see that both of these crazy boys are completely oblivious to the fact that they mean more to each other than they originally thought.
Harlow does finally have definitive proof that fox is a cat and it’s freaking hilarious.
I’m on tenterhooks for the next one to come out!!

Amazing as first!

I loved the connection between Foxx and Harlow,I could feel their pain. The story had me staying up til 4am, I had to finish it. Shelby knocked it out of the park again! Can't wait to read the next one.

Never Underestimate a Tiny Vampire!

Never underestimate a tiny vampire or his beautifully scarred human! Harlow's possessiveness is top notch hot in this installment! I love the absolute balance of simple humor, romance, violence and all things that a vampire can get you into! These two have all the spicy chemistry and then the tender moments creep up and make you warm and snuggly! Matt Williams is doing a fantastic job narrating this series to life! He gets all growling and grumpy as Harlow!! So much fun I cannot wait for more.

Another great installment of Harlow & Foxx

The book is great and the narrator bring Foxx and & Harlow to life. Foxx’s whining is spot on and so funny.
Overall a great listen.

The Emotions!

I loved this! The emotions I felt when Foxx was in the hospital and when he was captured 😫 I felt just as angry and helpless as Harlow. I've read the novel, but it was a whole other experience hearing the narration as the book came to life. Matt Williams did an excellent job and I can't wait to listen to him for the next book in the series.

Loved it!

So good the second time around. Eventhough this one was a little bit more traumatizing...especially for Foxx...poor Foxx... I enjoyed listening and remembering things from reading the ecopy. I absolutely love the narrator. He is doing fantastic with the voices. This came at the right time for book 3. Can't wait.

These endings

I have been fully enjoying this series. I love the dark and grumpy and colorful and sunshine trope. Then you sprinkle in a helping of psycho. *chefs kiss*. The only thing I will say are these ending feel very abrupt. Like what we were mid sentence what happened?
