Sweet and romantic

I gave this book a try because I was familiar with the narrator from other books. He did not disappoint, and I was consistently impressed with his ability to embody very different characters. As for the book itself, this is a love story, but not just one of romantic love. Yes, there is plenty of heat between the main characters, but the relationships among friends and family members are just as moving. I will definitely be giving the next book in the series a try.

Wow!

I never really get into books or audio books but this one REALLY drew me in! it was a thrill and it kept me guessing. I recommend this and I NEVER recommend things like this!

Good Fun

This is the first book I’ve read or listened to by this author and it won’t be the last! This was a fun read. Lots of humor and tongue-in-cheek banter. Joel Leslie was great as always. I’m buying the second in the series now.

I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery!

I Loved this story. All the twists and turns. I adored all the characters. I especially enjoyed all the different voices the narrator used to portray the characters. What a treat! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Interesting characters.

I don’t normally review anything. In fact this is the first time I’ve done this. But there was something about this book that really moved me. The humor in the spicy bits. The genuine care that the characters had for each other. And the narrator really brought it to life. I mean is it Wuthering Heights? No. But for audio books in this genre it was really good. And I cried like an idiot at the end (in a good way).

A great story with a group of characters you’d want as friends yourself. Laugh out loud moments, along with touching moments, and a mystery that will keep you guessing. Highly recommend

I want these characters as my friends! Lots of laughs and some tears, all brought to life by the incredible talents of Joel Leslie, THE best narrator out there.

Nicely narrated and with all the gibs and bits of humor. The mystery was very entertaining.

A Rare Gem

This was recommended to me and I’m so glad I took the chance on it.
I love British mysteries but you throw in paranormal activity and two sexy men who are hot for each other and you have perfection. All the ladies at the drag show are hilarious. Actually all the secondary characters are good too.
Luckily Danny noticed Tristan and took a chance even though he isn’t his normal type. The two of them together are so cute. They do have some smexy scenes but not a lot. I wished for more of the togetherness.
