We enjoyed listening to your mystery story. I liked the small town characters, the humor and the mystery. Plenty of action.

good start to a new series

I overall liked this book. but there are a few things that irritated me. first....I find it hard to think that a woman who's husband has been cheating on her would go around with his mistress. please have some self respect. also....spoiler alert.......if I thought I was pregnant I would have taken a test ASAP rather than waiting around thinking about it...just saying. overall I really liked this book.it was entertaining and I will be purchasing book #2.

After thought

Everything with the possibly being pregnant was just annoying. Seemed amateurish the way the character would randomly address the possibility.

Had so much potential but too much fluff

What’s up with all this mind talking! It’s was driving me up the wall, just say it for goodness sake and don’t get me started on all this damn metaphors
This would have been such an awesome book. I hope in the next book she gets a backbone especially against that mother-in-law. I’m glad she left that man though
I had to speed listen to get through this

Plot Twists

Wow! I thought I had it figured out, but I was completely wrong! It was a good listen!

A lot of characters to follow

The book is worth a listen if only for the colorful, creative analogies. I didn’t find the main character all that compelling but she grew on me. I also don’t feel like she actually solved the mystery but rather stumbled into it, and it’s quite convoluted. But perhaps the next story will be better.

Beyond belief

So over the top with unexplained animosity!!. It was hard to figure out the familial connections. Main character was a total mess. And all the cowboy aphorisms made me nuts. Couldn’t even finish this book and I’m glad it was free.
