Great Read

Stormy Day Box Set Books 1-3 was a great read by Angela Pepper. This set consists of; Death of a Dapper Snowman, Death of a Crafty Knitter, and Death of a Batty Genius. Death of a Dapper Snowman (Stormy Day Mystery #1) was a great read by Angela Pepper. Stormy Day is a gift shop owner wo is settling into her new life. Everything is going well until she comes across a frozen body that is hidden inside a well-dressed snowman. Her own father is implicated in the murder and she must chase down what actually happened. Unfortunately as the investigation goes on, her own life may be in danger. Until Jeffrey, the mischievous Russian Blue cat, that helps her figure out what happened. Death of a Crafty Knitter (Stormy Day Mystery #2) was a great read by Angela Pepper. Stormy Day is now famous in Misty Falls from solving a murder. She lets a mysterious fortune teller offer her romance advice. Sory finds herself drawn into a world of deception. Unfortunately a body shows up and more secrets and lies follow. Death of a Batty Genius (Stormy Day Mystery #3) was a great read by Angela Pepper. Stormy Day has now become a private investigator. Her ex-fiance suddenly shows up in town begging for one last chance. He invites Stormy and her friend luxury three-day vacation at a mountain resort. She agrees and unfortunately one of the guests ends up missing under mysterious circumstances. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Disordered chapters

Wonderful story and narration. Chapters 4 and 5 of book 3 are in reverse order.

First 2 were good, 3rd HORRIBLE

First two books were good and kept me entertained. The 3rd book almost seemed like it was written by a different person. Story was horrible, characters were horrible, dialogue was horrible. I couldn’t finish it. It was so odd, nothing like the first two books.

Long winded

I tried listening to the book and was really glad that it was long however, I quickly found that the characters were just long-winded didn’t learn and just were overall not the greatest people and I couldn’t stand to just hear them out each and every time though I did do my best to listen to the story till the end because I just couldn’t leave it unfinished I can’t say that I absolutely adored it. I would love to see more lovable, and less stupidity and foolishness from the characters because I just felt like They were all struggling to do the right thing constantly from Jessica just being interested in sex and being judged, and not even being the greatest person herself, who made the worst choices they could make, and then to our main character stormy day, who just continue to make poor choices and then judge everyone else, and think that she was the one who needed to make the best choices it just felt like everyone was shooting themselves in the foot over and over and over again. I don’t know. I don’t think I’ll be listening to the next one anytime soon, but I do hope that the author begins writing some more Approachable and lovable characters as a writer. You do not have to continuously shoot your characters in the foot to help them learn you can help them learn through more realistic expectations, and life lessons but you don’t have to make them so terrible…if you want to listen to the story, just know the characters are definitely unique.
